Makes me wonder why Amazon accept these returns...

Amazon Warehouse is an absolute mess. I ordered a monitor a few months back which they said "only had small marks 2.5cm in length" on the stand. Turns out the stand is scratched to hell, it's missing all cables, CDs and even the screws to attach the stand to it...

I have this monitor and it does have some serious issues, will not wake from sleep on display port and often will not come on at all (using any connection), you can see the screen trying to come on but it just stays blank/black, I have to pull the power lead out wait for the LED to go out then plug back in and it will then work. Shame really because it's not a bad monitor and reading the other posts from people with the same issue I'm not even going to waste my time with AOC support.

I saw on a forum where a guy had bought a big camera lens from Amazon warehouse and when he opened up the box it was just a piece of drain pipe with gaffer tape either end that had been filled with stones or similar to make up the weight. Amazing that people have the brass to do it considering it is fraud and that they believe that Amazon couldn't trace it back somehow like, maybe, via order number...

That said, they clearly do get away with it on occasion.
