Damn it. If this had been a matx board it would have been exactly what I'm looking for. Still though, heat!

buildzoid rates their matx ryzen board highly, specially for Ryzen 2400g for memory overclocking. Heats up, Raijintek Thetis case is smaller then 90% of mATX cases on the market
good deal but i rather wait for Zen 2
Nice deal have some heat from me good for anyone lookin to put together a decent little build

Get a good x570 board
Excellent deal. If I have done my sums correctly (which I probably haven’t) the same bundle will cost you £332 on amazon. Throw in the free game and there’s a proper bargain to be had. Nice find O

Up to 8 cores yes... Can't say much more the. That though till July. But 8 core should become mainstream and Gigabyte can flash boards if users aren't able to (postage charge if I recall)
That's a great deal.

Can the game be sold on, or is there some kind of check does anyone know?

How do these compare with i7 ?

How do these compare with i7 ?

Which i7, current 6/8 core i7 or older gens ? If it's 4c/8 thread i7 from gen 2-7 then Intel would win out for Pure gaming at 1080p if overclocked. Stronger the GPU the better the intel will hold a lead. If 1440p gaming then lead is cut and can be equal at times. Also with 12 threads ryzen can help in games like BFV that's heavy on Network code, streaming ryzen 6 core will hammer older 4 core Intel's

Ryzen is better value for money but depending on which version the I7 will still outperform it 10-15% on single core. Probably down -45% on multi thread though, although no games really take advantage of that enough to say it's objectively better.

Can someone help me put a build together for this? What case do I need, do I need a better cooler for cpu?

My current rig is
i5 4690k
8gb ddr3 ram
Nvidia GTX 760

I built it 5 years ago but haven't kept up with hardware etc so unsure what to go for now.

I was sent an email (within 7 days) with a redemption code but first you have to enter your ccl online email address & order number and code and you then get another code which you then have to register on AMD site, and your asked to download an authentication program to check if you have a Ryzen processor installed. Once you do all this it says your activation code will be emailed soon.

So looks a bit of a pain to try to workaround to sell the game. I'd probably have bought if i could sell the game on. It would have almost made it an upgrade for free after selling off my old bits.

Normally help builds on OCUK forum but if your playing games like BFV , COD and new assassin's creed game then extra cores and threads help .
16GB is now standard for system builds .
Gtx 1660ti would be great addition , or AMD RX 580 with 2 free games or Vega 56 with 3 free games for £300 odd.
Rtx 2060 now comes with 2 free games I believe .

Pretty much all vendors are now doing this. People are picking up Vega cards and selling the 3 free games for £20 a code each ! Well worth it , even if you give the code to a mate for cash in hand

If they are stopping people from selling the games on, then that's really going to hit their sales. There must be so many sales made just because people look at how much they can recoup and it makes it a no brainer upgrade.

Apologies, meant they are all including codes. When I last did amd code, just sent it to me after confirmation then sold the code on
Keep in mind the Ryzen 3000's are releasing in a couple of months, rumored to be the same price as the current 2000 line but significantly faster.

There's always something coming round the corner of course, but it looks like it will be quite a leap. Though it's the same motherboard slot.

Would be aiming for ryzen 4*** myself from 2*** series . 7nm++ will offer better performance and power draw.
I was looking at getting the MSI b450 gaming pro carbon ac Board with 16GB Ram and Ryzen 2600.
Tempted by this now.... Could someone Advise ? Currently have a FX8320e would like to finally upgrade.

FX to ryzen 2000 is a massive upgrade ! Should see between 7-30 FPS increase depending on current GPU installed . More powerful your current GPU , more gains . Also see more gains outside of gaming .
MSI has slightly better VRM, but Aorus/gigabyte has better RMA being based In UK /repaired Along with rep support

Thank you, had this FX8320e now since 2014 so think it's time to part ways...lol. I Have a 8GB RX 470 with my build currently want to keep that and pretty much replace Mobo Processor and Ram.

May a ask which board you would go for ?

Bit biased towards Gigabyte . Bios isn't as slick as MSI, but fan control is miles better and their warranty and rep support wins it for me ! Love Asus but only as a system builder as at trade prices... They are soooo much cheaper .... At retail, rip off prices and poor customer support . Aorus does look better imo
Perfectly decent deal.

Nice system to Overclock. No need for the 2600X, (marginal better @stock thoigh)

Get some 3000Mhz 2X4/8GB ram from ccl

Then rest on a nice 1070mini at £250

However if you can't atleast get a 1070 due to budget.. consider downgrading for gaming purposes only to a 2200g 85 /8gb 48 and a b350 board at 52 = £180 and a psu 500w at £45 = £225.. oh wait for £25 in it their is no point < usual statement I make when considering the 2600 over the 2200 if that neans.. depends on rest of budget you have to cut down on GPU

but this deal is too good!

Gtx 1660 out tomorrow or Friday . Vega 56 with 3 free games too
I already have a good Gaming PC so don't need any parts
I think many folk would consider purchaching the Game code at a decent price though. I hear once you have authenticated your cpu you get a proper digital code for Uplay or Steam. Not 100% though.
I think there will be a few floating aroung on eBay soon, probably over priced though.

You don't get a code, I didn't with DMCV or Res evil 2. You activate it through AMD rewards which you link your steam account to and it does it all automatically. Only way you would be able to do it is by someone giving you their steam details and I don't think they'd be up for that somehow!
