For when Summer finally arrives

I got excited as mine came with a "free glass" label, but the expiry date of the offer was 31/12/18!!!

  • Aperitivo Poco Alcolico - Aperitif
  • Aperol is the perfect aperitif. Bright orange in colour, it has a unique bitter-sweet taste deriving from a secret recipe that has remained unchanged since its creation. An infusion of oranges, rhubarb and many herbs and roots in a perfectly balanced combination.
  • Aperol Spritz
  • Ice cubes
  • Slice of orange
  • 3 parts Prosecco or any other dry sparkling wine
  • 2 parts Aperol
  • 1 splash of Soda
  • Aperol Spritz is the perfect way to start your evening. Take a large, ice filled wine glass and add 75ml of Prosecco, 50ml Aperol and a dash of soda. Garnish with a slice of orange.

I’m after a free glass too.... so expensive to buy! Hopefully some offers again soon. Heat love this in the summer with grapefruit and orange - cheers

Got glasses for £1 each in asda last summer. Keep your eyes open.
Sounds strange for Tesco to be selling with a voucher
nearly 6 months past expiry. I used to work for a company selling food and drink products to supermarkets, and of all supermarkets Tesco insisted on the longest shelf lives.

I would ponder if the voucher date was a misprint. Might be worth checking if the bottle itself has a short-dated best before.

I got two free from Asda with purchases of Aperol. Hopefully they may do the same this year.

I tried to redeem the offer before I realised that it had expired. The web site freeaperolglass.com no longer exists and redirects you to the Aperol site, so I think the date is correct. No sell by on the bottle as far as I can see, just a production date.

Gutted.

Having read the back of your bottle, I really fancy a glass now.
Do people still drink this?
