Might have just been you, I don't call Edinburgh 'Little Surrey' for nothing.
Should have gone to brexit specsavers!
Indeed love Scotland and its people never had any issues even is paisley which was abit rough down south tho is another matter matter
Interesting I think London wins the prize for unfriendly. If your hanging round City Centre bars the percentage of "locals" your going meet isn't that high.
Odd for Glasgow, they tend to talk to anybody, Edinburgh on the other hand can seem quite snobbish, but it's more to do with their 'keep yourself to yourself' mentality. One can stand alone all night in a busy bar in Edinburgh (I've experienced it), whereas Glasgwegians will always let on. That said almost one in every four peeps in Edinburgh is English or have English parents, and whilst the city does have it's fair share of loons the vast majority are genuinely nice peeps. Most hostile places I've ever visited were mostly North Wales, but the most unwelcoming would have been either Morpeth or Ullapool. Friendliest was either Liverpool or Carlisle.
