Well worth it. Astounding 4K master too, well worth the upgrade
Very nice as long as you are not in a hurry. Up to 2 month wait.

Tell me about it. I don't have that many but I have "access" to this film for a while and have just not got round to watching it.

Same. I got the 4K on my US iTunes account since the US release of this and still haven’t watched it either lol. Oh well, it will look nice next to the other shrink wrapped discs
Will it work on UK Blu Ray players?

The 4k discs are usually region free. It's pot luck generally with the blurays.

1080 Blurays depend on your player. A region free player will play anything. As stated above, the 4K discs are region free.

Had the pleasure of watching the remaster at the cinema, superb! If I owned a UHD player I'd almost certainly buy this set.

Hey man your doing your 4K tv a huge disservice by streaming 4K films from Itunes. The picture quality is no where near as good as a disc

I find sound the biggest difference between iTunes 4k and disc. PQ difference is marginal at best on my 55inch oled. Maybe more apparent on larger screens.

Lol fair enough. I’m sure there will be a great deal on a 4k player any day now.

If I owned an S or X for gaming I would be very tempted to upgrade a few titles: Alien, Blade Runner, 2001, Apocalypse Now. Beyond that there are unfortunately very few titles I'd be interested in watching more than once in a blue moon. I doubt Ferris Bueller, The Goonies, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure or Planes Trains and Automobiles will be reference titles.

Nah. Apple TV is actually very good for 4K picture quality. The closest to a 4K blu ray in fact. If I was wanting to build a digital collection, that is where I would do it.

The only lacking part compared to disc is the sound quality. That is a clear step down.

Thanks OP. Going to go for this release. I got Dredd for the same price from Amazon US earlier this week and it arrived within 2 days on the cheapest shipping option. My jaw hit the floor when I saw it. Hope this is as speedy too.
Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse is one of the best documentaries I've seen [which is included here]. The lengths Coppola went to, and the obstacles he overcame are almost more impressive than the finished movie. From the opening scene with Sheen, to him having to leave set, to the backstory about the helicopters. Fascinating. Get this. Get this now.
