The Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch laptop is a beautiful-looking computer. It has a sleek, streamlined aluminium unibody design, a minimalist backlit keyboard (so you can type in low light), button-free touchpad and an edge-to-edge glass LED screen. It's extremely compact, so if you want to take it with you wherever you go it won't weigh you down.

The MacBook Pro may be a style icon, but it's also a powerful, feature packed laptop capable of handling all sorts of multimedia and work-based applications. The MacBook Pro 13 inch laptop has a speedy 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of memory and 250GB of hard drive space, enabling it to quickly perform multiple tasks at the same time. You can store your photos, videos and music on the MacBook Pro's hard drive and edit, organise and share them with the iLife '09 software, which comes with the MacBook Pro. This amazing application suite includes: iPhoto, which lets you share your digital photos; GarageBand, which enables you to record your own music and podcasts; iMovie, which you can use to make your own films.

And that's not all. The 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard, which features a whole host of applications to help you get the most out of your laptop. These applications include, among others: iTunes, iChat, Safari, QuickTime and Photo Booth.

The MacBook Pro's screen, with its black edges, oozes appeal, but it really comes alive when you watch films or play games on it. With a NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor, images look detailed, movements are fluid and the battery lasts for long periods of time. The battery on the 13-inch MacBook Pro can last up to an impressive 9 hours, so you're able to play games and watch movies on the move. You can pop a DVD into the Apple MacBook Pro's 8x DVD+R/RW SuperDrive, sit back and enjoy.

If you'd rather go online and browse your favourite websites, the MacBook Pro has AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi wireless networking so you can connect to a network when you're on the move. You can keep in touch with friends and family too, with the iSight camera built into the top of the laptop's screen enabling you to see people's faces as you chat.

I would rather pay the extra £65 for a new machine than refurb myself......

What is strange is this is the cheapest I can find anywhere by far......if I don't liek a product I don't blow it cold because i don't like it, what is the point in that. This is nto a review site but a site for sharing bargains and this is a BARGAIN with a capital B.....As for it being a £250 computer well we can only leave the jealous to their own devices.......I give it lurve anyway....<3

If you use a code, bestbuy may refuse to pay cashback.

False economy buying this if you are after a Macbook. The new sandy bridge cpu powered models are significantly more powerful than the core 2 duo

its a decent price but not as 'red hot' as you seem to think it is. these kind of prices come and go quite often on hukds. under £700 and you might have got yourself a very hot deal.

The code is via the Quidco site so cashback will be given if you go through Quidco.

Thought this was a great deal, I've got my Macbook Pro 2.2 15" at almost 25% below the standard apple pricing. Tracking in Quidco (who also confirm its discount + quido saving)

Great generic lappy sale deal

Edited by: "allyh32" 14th Mar 2011

i had a problem with this deal because the best buy site would not accept the quidco code and i had to complete the transaction by phone. apparently this means that i won't get the 8% cashback, which seems a bit harsh, because it seems to be a recognised problem at best buy. has any one else had this?

Expired? I can't get the code to work
