Combining impressive Intel® UHD Graphics with a stunning Retina Display screen, everything from blockbuster movies to everyday browsing is a visual joy. With True Tone technology, your display will automatically adjust to your environment - so web pages and emails look as natural as if they were printed.

Now featuring a Magic Keyboard, enjoy responsive and quiet typing as you work on your essay. And the larger Force Touch trackpad gives your more room to pinch and zoom.

Browse all day with up to 12 hours of battery life

Unlock your MacBook securely with Touch ID

Forgotten passwords are a thing of the past thanks to the MacBook Air's Touch ID sensor. Simply place your finger over the sensor to unlock with nothing but your fingerprint, for effortless security wherever you are. It's great for accessing sensitive documents and system settings too, so you can keep everything important safe, without needing a password.

So we’ve established it may be RRP. Apparently it’s not correct unless 10 people say it one after another.

Isn’t this just the normal price? You can get it from John Lewis.
Don’t think this is much of a deal as it’s the same price direct from Apple.
This is full price?
This is the standard RRP is it not?
Isn’t this just the regular price at Apple?
Isn’t this exact same price as on apple?
Posting RRP on an Apple product

Isn’t this rrp? Lol!
Free delivery swings it for me... nice
Would've thought this is RIP at this price!
Now, I think the iPad is by far the best tablet you can buy, the Apple watch is by far the best smart watch you can buy and iphones are the best phones you can buy.

But I wouldn't touch an apple computer with a bargepole and A GRAND FOR A BLOODY I3 IS ABSOLUTE MADNESS

Interesting , is that simply because you are a PC user and MacOS is damn frustrating until you are used to it.
I would never have one either - but those who do (my wife for one) love them and her i3 Mac Pro from about 5 years ago is as good as new and works a treat.

Although I like and prefer windows there is also "not really" much argument that MacOS is a superiors OS - I just cant be bothered to learn it (or unlearn Windows). Personally I wont buy in the high price tags...iapple stuff is great - but my phone, watch, laptop are not worth the premium to me- ipad still is

The Mac Pro (and MacBook Pro, in case that's what you meant) have never used i3 processors.

No, I frequently use MacOS via hackintosh (making MacOS run on non apple PC's) and am an IOS developer that requires you to use MacOS.

Must be an i5 then (, had assumed i3 as i only paid about 750 ) and yes its a macbook pro..... Which is part of the point really, cpu is less important in macOS.

Just checked bought dec 2015, hopefully last a bit longer

Even more interesting.... Do you like MacOS and think it is a better OS out just use because you have to?
Do you love the Mac software and and wouldn't pay a grand because they is an alternative? You can't put iOS on an Android handset but you can get an excellent Android hard handset for a third the price of an iPhone.

Re Hackintosh, how good does it work for a day to day machine. I once set it up on a VM to play with, but never really bother. However, once the wife's MacBook Pro dies it is a viable alternative to a new MacBook for a machine she will use daily? Any recommendations for hardware?
Thanks
I brought my MacBook Air back in 2012 and it is still running like a dream (battery has gone recently tho)

I prefer windows but I dont dislike MacOS (but I only use it if I have to, so its not really a daily driver). I find there are many more applications available for windows.

As for android, I actively dislike android. Its a mess, there like a thousand different launchers, performance is terrible in comparison (why does an android handset need 8gb ram? That's the same as my laptop) and googles privacy policy is horrendous (especially now google are routhing everything through their USA servers now). Android itself is spyware disguised as an OS IMO (the same can be said for windows 10 privacy wise but, windows is much more receptive to modding and everything can be disabled)

Currys don't do student discount, so how are you saying it's possible to get 10% off via Unidays?
Voted hot because the normal price is for the 128gb model and that’s a bargain for extra space

Hasn't the 128gb model been scrapped for the 2020 model? Pretty sure this is now the lowest space available.
