First think I did after heating this was to see what price the 27" was!

very nice machine, i'm using one now that I got through deal on here 6 months ago, everyone who uses it love it

Nice price, and suprisingly for an Apple machine, I don't think there is a better all in one!

TCB is 8%

Great price to get some heat.

Check out eBay for Applecare deals to get extra cover to 3 yrs.

Actually the price for this is £719.10 (plus Quidco)

The BBCOMP10 voucher gives 10% off, so the saving would be £79.90, not £100.

wish it was 27" would snap it up , not sure 21" is big enough for me

Buy the 21" and get a large extra monitor? Have something like a 27" + 21" dual monitor setup? Would be sweeeet.

The code takes off 10% not £100!

Those are likely to be the best discounts on retail new Apple hardware you are likely to get for now. That link was for 2010, is the deal back on this year? The i3 was a weak chip relatively speaking and similar in performance to the C2D. I would go for a new iMac unless £700 was my absolute top budget.

Absolute bargain.
I went for the latest Quad Core i5 21.5" and it is a great piece of kit. Didn't fancy the 27" as I've worked on them and the screen is absolutely huge, and a little uncomfortable for long hours, however if we ever get 'Retina' displays on Mac's that might be worth another look...

Stonking deal, I am using one of these now, it is super.

Could you imagine the resolution of a Retina 27" iMac lol.

would you say the new model is a lot better?

LOL @ Apple and the way people fall for their rip off prices

PS: Cold simply for the fact this junk isnt work £650

on the other hand.. for £650.. you can get a 40" HD tv and a decent Dell with better specs for less and if your an apple fan boy, you can dual boot it with Apple OS.

The main pluses with the new model are that it is quicker and has Thunderbolt sockets (that are a bit redundant at the moment). I think for what it's worth this is a good deal for anyone that does buy one. Good find OP.

I use a 27" hooked up to a Dell U2711 and do prefer the Dell screen although I have no major problems using the screen for long periods.

Can anyone confirm the video memory on this machine?

I've looked at the Best Buy specs and it states it has 512MB of GDDR3 video memory, but after researching the model number I've found that it typically has 256MB of VRAM.

Cheapest base unit Dell does is £399. Please can you post the £250 40" HD tv you mention as I can imagine it would be a pretty hot deal. Possibly the greatest bargain ever

Was with you until Dell was mentioned!!

Could build an amazing PC for this price which would absolutely blow any Mac/Dell out of the water. Easy as hell too.

Not voting because this is a good price compared to how much its been sold for, but all in all they are incredibly over priced.

I know you are but what am I?

Bless

Heaven forbid anybody compare eggs with eggs on here but when compared to other all in ones by decent manufacturers (Sony, HP) then this is a good price.
But in the world of HKUD if you compare it to something totally different then it's not.

For example
'Wat a rip. My netbook woz only £200 and it iz soooo much faster than dis & I can do mac on it 2. Only saddos wood buy dis'

Sony and HP decent manufacturers? oO

They are just as worse as Apple.. buy last years hardware, put it in a box, make the box look nice etc etc

Compared to Acer, Dell or Packard Bell then yes. You want to talk overpriced lets talk Vaios!!!
Vaios are dearer than other comparable PCs and Macs and they aren't as well made as Macs but it's Apple stuff that gets the hate.

bargain price for an imac.I wish such deal was on 3 months ago when I had to buy a new computer,I ended up with another annoying windows laptop for around £400 and spend the rest of my budget on other things which I regret now.

yes but you have to compare like for like, the closest dell have to this is there all in one for £550(which looks like a pig)the build quality on this is worth at least £100

i had a Sony Vaio for 3 years.. purchased it for half its RRP.. £400 in boxing day sales and got them to throw in 3 years premium warranty.. which i never used because its not had a problem and to this day runs super quiet.. its still going smooth (_;)

But if it was on sale for £800 and no warranty, id have laughed.

You were ripped. You probably could of got an Acer with a better spec for £400.
Or did you buy the Vaio because although it had an inferior spec to an Acer for the same price or less it was a premium brand and a better quality machine?
Like Apple?
