Don't be so judgemental, it makes you look like a prat
So many Apple haters here, you get what you pay for, love mine, most comfortable in ear headphones I had,
Sound is amazing, noise cancelling makes a big difference.

Good price for Apple's latest ProPods. Heat added.
These are amazing, I love mine!

That’s down to supply and demand dynamics.

And this deal's price is to down to R&D costs, brand reputation and ease of functionality.

That’s subjective. You could say that about anything someone wears

One of not many products where I didn't have second thoughts after purchase. Love it, so much better than the standard AirPods.

Totally agree.
They are expensive, but also very good.

This may be true but I am pretty sure my kids wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between these and the cloned version they actually got for Christmas.

My bank balance did though
Apple products are expensive nothin new there but people like to pay more for a premium item!

Am one of them people!

Thanks a mill Droux! Just bit the bullet, they get amazing reviews!

For standard AirPods I agree.
I got some clones from AliExpress as stocking fillers (@ £15 per pair) and they are great.
But AirPods pro clones without NC will not be the same at all. If the cloners can do good quality NC anytime soon I’d be surprised

Not sure these are aimed at people that can’t tell the difference I didn’t buy the 1st or 2nd gen AirPods because there were better options out there before. The Pros however, are one of the best buds currently available imo. Comfortable and excellent for commuting, in the office and exercising. Ticks all the boxes for me and was happy to pay the full price with John Lewis guarantee
Heat because it’s the cheapest I have seen them but I wouldn’t as they are essentially disposable because the battery is not replaceable and they will probably won’t last more than 2 years with daily use.

This comment is obviously not limited to AirPods but all wireless earphones in general.

Bear that in mind if you purchase these or equivalents and use them heavily.

I’m not sure how much I’d trust cheap lithium batteries in my ears!🤕
Showing full price for me
They look like mini hairdryers! Great if your kids own a Barbie doll and you like throwing money away!

Unlike the previous generation of AirPods which got a lot of mixed reviews, people have almost universally said the AirPods Pro are fantastic. Many people use earphones every single day. So the 'overpriced' line doesn't hold a lot of weight to be honest - of course you can buy cheaper, but why buy cheap for something you use so often?

I had the first gem for probably 2 years or more and whilst the batteries did deteriorate, I would say they were only down to around 70% capacity.
I would not pay more than £10 for Apple earphones. Apple have a notorious reputation for earphones, at that price you could get some decent headphones (and not Beat ones either).

Ah ... didn't spot the NC bit. The ones my kids have got definitely don't have NC but they didn't need it either 😁

It’s a good thing the airpod pros are not aimed at kids then 👏
Do these like most other Apple earphones allow other commuters to listen to your music too?

I'm not an Apple hater by the way, just can't bear how much sound leaks from these when someone is using them nearby.

These Earbuds go fully into ear canal so seal is better and noise leakage is much lower.
Also noise cancellation means volume can be lower to enjoy music
Price gone back up to £249...
I’ll wait until these drop to £120!
Upgraded my Gen 1 AirPods to these when they came out. Sound is definitely improved (particularly the bass), noise cancelling is very good (especially in the office), sound leakage is a lot less and can listen at a lower volume, haptic/touch controls take a bit of getting used to over the old tap but works well, shorter stem helps aesthetics imo but do make it harder to change songs and pause etc. Overall very happy with them for something I use 3-4 hours a day at work.
Looks like this has expired now.

That’s going to be a long wait! In fact I don’t think they will even be £120 🤪
