Considering prices just now this could be an option for some of you, especially if you want to use the Paypal offer on page, Most of you will know what you're looking at here, these are really popular and are NOT the ones with a wireless charging case.

Delivery shows as Next Working Day, but quoting Wednesday for me, this may differ from postcode to postcode. Also you might see delays as expected with everything that's going on right now.

The airpods from Apple are latest advancement in technology when it comes to being connected with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac. Just take them out your charging case and a one tap setup allows your airpods to work like magic. The new and improved Apple airpods are always on and the sensor detects when you put them into your ears and automatically pause when you take them out.
Simply say “Hey Siri” and make your request, adjust the volume, change the song, make a call or even ask for directions. you can freely wear both or a single airpod and can even use the touch sensitive controls to play or skip forward using a double tap. The airpods charging case can give you 3 hours of listening time or 2 hours of talk time with just 15 minutes of charge.
The airpods use optical sensors and motion accelerometers to detect when they’re in use and are powered by the all new Apple H1 headphone chip. The H1 chip detects which airpod you’re using and automatically routes the audio and activates the mic. There’s also an additional speech detecting accelerometer which works with beamforming microphones to filter out external noise and focuses just on your voice.

MADE FOR YOUR VOICE
An integrated, speech-detecting accelerometer instantly recognizes when you're speaking and works with a pair of beamforming microphones to filter out other noise to focus purely on your voice

ARE APPLE AIRPODS COMPATIBLE WITH ANDROID DEVICES?
Your AirPods can effortlessly connect to your iPhone or Apple Watch, and the audio you're listening to switches seamlessly between your devices. Want to listen to your Mac or iPad? Just select AirPods on those devices for super-easy setup with magical results. Although the airpods are made to be used with apple products you can still use them on most android devices so you can take advantage of the wireless technology whether you prefer Android or Apple.

Can someone tell me what makes this better than a £50 pair from Amazon, such as Anker Soundcore?

Took the AirPod to an Apple store in Milton Keynes and they replaced it no fuss at all with a brand new one. For me this would be why. They connect first time, they don’t fall out, and the battery is great.

Yeah this sums it up, you are paying for Apple quality, you pay a bit more but it doesn’t disappoint.

Nearly all "alternatives" are the type that have to be pushed into your ear canals. I - and many others - can't wear them, or at least not with any level of comfort. My Airpods sit in my ear, are secure enough to run with, are extremely comfortable and swap seamlessly between my watch, phone and iPad. The sound quality isn't amazing, but it's definitely good enough for running, or for casual use such as podcasts. And the microphones are excellent for use on conference calls, which I do a lot. OK, they're not cheap, and they look stupid (please don't accuse me of being a "fashion victim", I'm anything but), but they do their job fantastically well and I'm perfectly happy with the £159 I pad for mine a year or so ago. If you fit the usage profile, these are a bargain.
Gwt the Huawei freebuds 3 with a free wireless charging pad at the moment. Better sounding and cheaper.

Or galaxy buds plus.

There are so many better options than apple, you are paying for the brand except if you go with the pro version, and then there are even more better options.

I got these the other day, same deal was on curry’s eBay last week. I wasn’t sure at first but now these are the only ear phones I’ll use and they always connect first time and the case charging them means they are never out of battery.

Nice
Amazon did allow payment over 5 months so guess they win..
The PayPal credit 0% for 12 months is for eBay only. So am I missing something or is your description wrong?
ended up buying from scan. didn't get the option from amazon.

So do the sound core, and amazon exchange. I have galaxy buds and sound cores. The wings on the sound core are longer so stay in better. They are a bit tinny compared to Samsung but nothing too drastic... defo not 6x the price difference.

Some retailers have different agreements with PayPal so it is possible to get 12 months interest free. I know Apple did the same thing with PayPal before.

If you're into the apple ecosystem with a Mac, iPhone and more it's good as it connects quickly and seamlessly. If not, definitely don't bother, they don't sound good in my opinion at all.

I'm also biased as I'm not an apple fan, bit I saw a video that explained it well. All their products are built to seamlessly work together so the true value comes when you're a fan and have a lot of their stuff. If not stick to something cheaper. A good option at the moment would be RHA's as I think they have 50% off.

No I agree with what ur saying. I think for me it's all abkut sound quality but I have a small music studio so these things are a little more of a priority. Buy yes, the apple pods are very comfortable and work extremely well with apple gear.

What would you recommend instead of AirPods pro?
So what are the alternatives to Apple airpods/airpods pro
Is there any point in having the wireless charging case? Only difference is you can put it onto a charge mat, is that correct?

If you can get them to stay in your ears. Mine had to go back as they kept falling out and reading the reviews it’s a common occurrence.

Went to the store and told Apple the sound quality and volume had reduced. They inspected and didn’t ask any further questions- offered to replace there and then.

Depends on your use case.

Say you have any combination of an iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac? Whatever device you pick up these "just work" and don't need to be messed with re-pairing each time you use them. All because they have the custom Apple chip in them, which the other cheaper options don't have.

They're not from my testing. I am not an apple fan and am biased but they are not good headphones unless you like the apple shape. The only time I'd say it's worth it is of you've invested into the apple ecosystem and have iPhone, mac, Apple TV as it'll work seamlessly with all of them.

If you just have an iPhone and then a Windows pc etc i'd say they're not worth it.

Just ordered them from amazon thanks for the heads up, was going to pay £138 from Currys
Can anyone recommend a decent case?

Can anyone recommend a decent case?

Got Icetek case. It’s even cheaper now. Do Get some dust in hinge and lost top cover but all in one don’t work as top loosens so would lose whole thing if not careful. They also sent extra top part for free although does take extra time to get delivered.

Best I’ve tried so far, certainly for price and good customer service.
