I would rather pay the extra £59 to not have something which has been in someone else’s lughole
£99 for used earphones wtf

These look really funny, do they sound better than they look? My experience of Bluetooth headphones (jaybird) are that Bluetooth sound quality just isnt there yet, not loud enough and nowhere near as good quality as even a budget eightball wired headphone. Do they stay in good for running or something?

Which are absolutely terrible. Well, for the price they're OK, but nowhere near comparable to Apple's offering.

They will have been made sterile. I take it you don't visit the dentist?

are they any good?

I haven't got mine yet but several people I know have said they good. Obviously don't expect 150 quid headphone quality but if you just want some cheap pairs for the train or running they're well worth it. I've got 2 pairs on order. I have ordered other cheap bluetooth headphones about 7 quid from amazon and their quality was decent.

Based on the reviews you get what you pay for.
Yes - they are excellent. Bluetooth switching is really slick and way better than any other Bluetooth device I’ve ever used.
I was sceptical and thought they’d fall out but they don’t even when running.
Sound quality is very good and similar to Apple EarPods which I like. I wouldn’t say it’s outstanding but for me I think it’s very good.
Battery life is great and the case charges them up to 4 times before you need to charge the case.
I held off and only for mine recently but I’m very impressed and wish I’d bought mine earlier.
Really good price for them, but I assume they are second hand as opposed to simply open boxed/unused customer return?

Last time I went, probably around 6 months ago now, there were no Apple AirPods there.

But the instruments will have been used in other people's mouths. Sterilised inbetween of course, but still.

These are more about the usability than the sound quality.

I paid full price over a year ago and I would pay the same again, I use them every day whilst walking the dog and they just work. By the time I've flipped open the case and put them in my ears they have already connected and are ready to go.

Do you really need wireless for walking the dog though? If the could improve the design and sound quality they would be amazing I just can't see how they'll be able to I'm such a small form. I get what your saying though

This. I use mine every day. My rating of the sound quality is - they sound better than you might expect. You can take that as you will.

Bluetooth headphones can be OK. Apt-x support helps but not sure Apple support apt-x. I use sure earbuds with a cheap Chinese axp-t Bluetooth lead (just earbud to earbud) and it is great. I suspect there are some really terrible Bluetooth headsets out there. I also have a on ear Onkyo set that is ok apart from slightly crappy pairing. As for these, wouldn't touch with a bargepole. Also would not buy used earbuds.

The worsts ever (and I've experienced it) is wired headphones and an over active dog, try bending down picking dog poo up whilst the dog is pulling on the lead and the loop of the wire gets caught and the ear phones get yanked out.

I value things on how much they get used, yes these may seem expensive and an extravagant purchase but to me I've certainly got my money worth out of them.
OOS
The cheap copies from China battery lasts about 20 mins. In other words, not fit for much at all. That's what I got from 2 pairs anyway.
Anyone who pays 100quid for used headphones is a mug!
Got them before and 80% sure they are Apple refurbished put back in their original box. Not a single scratch (which would be magical for apple plastic) and no dirt at all which mine had after 2 days
My cheap copies last 45mins, sound is OK, for £5 they are perfect for listening to podcasts while on a run.

£388 for a red iphone 8 to go with it??
That's £99 too expensive for me
Used ear buds can’t wait 🙈
I have a bluetooth adapter for my old headphones which I got from gearbest, the sound through that with the headphones that came with my ipad or my seinheissers is barely distinguishable from wiring, the device seems to amplify well, only 2 hours battery life but for a tenner you can get 5 or get a powerbank and charge it off of that, not heard airpods so im not going to compare especially as its in a completely different price and market range but I would rather just buy the bluetooth adapter and have a decent set of wired headphones into that than a cheap set of bluetooth headphones or imitations of airpods.
I have some, can vouch that they’re good - more importantly, they just work well.

Costco instore occasionally have them for Just under £145 (if a member) 2 yr guarantee included.
