I'd rather have a bug blob of ear wax than these
I need just a right airpod as mines gone quiet and only lasts about 45 min on the battery. I refuse to pay apple £69 replacement fee when I can get a Refurb set for £75 I shall wait again
Out of stock ;__;

When though it’s highly likely they are returned unwanted Xmas presents.
Would be hot if in stock.

Surely if you pay for an Apple replacement it too will be warrantied for 12 months, so you’ll get a new Apple supplied one for less.

I know what I’d be choosing.
Comes with free ear mites

They always bounce in and out of stock. You just need to get lucky.

Also sold on clearance bargains. Which is the physical argos outlets

Nopen, you'd think so but I did this before and paid the £69, it went faulty 4 months later and apple basically told me to stick it cause they only warranty replacements for 90 days and I didn't buy the original set from them. If I was buying new I'd buy from somewhere like John Lewis for the longer warranty

No, £6 more for 12m warranty instead of 90 days, a 2nd charging case and a 2nd left airpod for when that one eventually needs replacing (I'm not silly, tiny batteries and 2-3 charge cycles per day they will die quicker than something like a phone)

Maybe try looking at Consumer Rights Act

Maybe try looking at Consumer Rights Act

I gave up tbh not worth the hastle. Long story short, bought them from Curry's, had them replaced by Apple (which is who Curry's recommended for support when they went faulty). After the 2nd one went faulty and it was outside apples "90 day" warranty on replacement parts they said quote consumer act at point of purchase (Curry's).

Curry's said they didn't supply the goods that were now faulty Apple did as a replacement part. Apple refused anything to do with it as they didn't have a "bill of sale" that's with the retailer, Curry's said jog on and gave me a deadlock letter to take to a ADR but also said that they don't subscribe to any ADR (and aren't required to by law) so even if the ADR found in my favour I would still need to take that to a small claims court and prove my case in court.

I decided for £150 of headphones it wasn't worth the hastle and I'll just never shop at Curry's again, I'll buy from Apple direct so warranty and sale come from the same place, buy from a retailer with a decent warranty service (like John Lewis) or just buy cheaper refurbs (as these are definetly a item that's going to wear out quickly. The amount I use them the batteries are getting anywhere upto 1000 charge cycles a year, battery life gets terrible after 1-2 years at that rate)

Best advice for the future, use a credit card for items costing £100+ so u can claim against CC using Consumer Credit Act
Update: got mine today. They are new with Apple seals on them.
