3404458.jpgMore magical than ever
The new AirPods deliver the wireless headphone experience, reimagined. Just pull them out of the case and they’re ready to use with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac.

Easy to setup
After a simple one-tap setup, AirPods work like magic. They’re automatically on and always connected. AirPods can even sense when they’re in your ears and pause when you take them out.

Support for Siri
To adjust the volume, change the song, make a call or even get directions, simply say “Hey Siri” and make your request. You have the freedom to wear one or both AirPods

Powerful Battery
AirPods deliver 5 hours of listening time and 3 hours of talk time on a single charge. And they’re made to keep up with you, thanks to a charging case that holds multiple charges for more than 24 hours of listening time. Need a quick charge? Just 15 minutes in the case gives you 3 hours of listening time or 2 hours of talk time

Powered by a H1 Chip
Powered by the all-new Apple H1 headphone chip, AirPods use optical sensors and motion accelerometers to detect when they’re in your ears. Whether you’re using both AirPods or just one, the H1 chip automatically routes the audio and engages the microphone. And when you’re on a call or talking to Siri, an additional speech-detecting accelerometer works with beamforming microphones to filter out external noise and focus on the sound of your voice.

  • Apple AirPods with Charging Case 2nd Generation
  • Key Features:

  • Easy setup for all your Apple devices
  • Charges quickly in the case
  • Rich, high-quality audio and voice

Yes you can say hey Siri and ask it to reduce/increase volume

No there are two versions of the 2nd Gen. One has wired charging and the other is wireless (but can also be charged the normal way i.e wired).

Fair play, thank you. Had a look at the Apple website, I think I’ll wait till I go to the states to try them!

Ah okay. What’s the difference between the two?

Nothing apart from how you charge them.

The wireless one you can charge wirelessly (need to buy a wireless charging pad separately if you don’t have one) or with a normal iPhone/iPad cables that’s included with the airpods.

The non-wireless one, you can only charge with the cable.

Personally I brought the wired one & just charge it with the cable. I initially wanted the wireless one but the added expense of buying a wireless pad wasn’t worth it for me in the end.

Not at full volume. They sit right in your ear. The only time I heard noise was cycling yesterday during that storm the wind was loud but other than that they are incredible
Heat because they're a decent price, but you can get so much better for less. Soundcore have some awesome earphones atm.

Telling people they don't need noise cancelling because they can turn the volume up is silly and bad advice.

Ill do whatever I want on any deal I want. If I want to highlight bad advice I'll do so. People are allowed opinions pal.
Okay Samsung fanboi who hates apple and has probably never tried AirPods. To those reading go into an Apple store and test these out and you will know what I mean

I don’t think you can. None of those are as good, the AirPods are great at everything including phone calls. I’ve got wireless Sony’s too that have better audio quality but their mics are atrocious and don’t fit in my ear. AirPods don’t have the NC of my Sony’s but worth giving up for fitment and mic quality.

For me personally it seems ludicrous to pay this much for earphones that have no tips for blocking out some noise. If you want better mic quality then sure, but if you're using these purposefully for music or audio quality then I'd have to disagree.
I managed to snag this for £112.89 from Currys. The guy behind the counter price matched it for me... No idea which site it was price match with!

EDIT: must be price matched against Londontechshop.com. It's worth a try.

You wouldn't use buds for quality anyway! I got these as a present because I didn't want to front up the cash and they're the best sounding earbuds I have ever used. I use Sony headphones with noise cancelling usually but I wear these to the gym and they're pretty amazing tbf. They also connect instantly and I haven't had any problems.

I doubt adding just the wireless charging makes it the better version. It really is a rip off to sell that feature separately.

But why get some knock of AirPods for £50 when they don’t sound as good, don’t have the connection stability, poor mics, inferior build quality, no NC either and no easy support if something goes wrong.

There’s no good all rounder true wireless earphones around £130 except the AirPods. You might get better sound from others but they’ll be bulky and fall out, garbage for calls, older Bluetooth chips etc. I’ve got better sounding Sony wireless earphones with NC that blocks out majority of the noise but no matter what they don’t stay in longer than a few mins.

That statement is just ludicrous. Apple build quality is no better than other large brand manufacturers, in fact, it's sometimes inferior.

Have a look at

- Soundcore liberty air 2
- JBL reflect flow
- Google pixelbud 2
- Samsung galaxy buds

The list goes on.

I don't know where you get you're information from, but there are plenty of reviews out there with shake tests for all these earphones.

You must have some weird ears if they don't stay in longer than a few minutes.

Go buy your trash ear buds and let people buy the AirPods if they want. Go enjoy your niggly faults with the ear phones listed.

Anker Soundcore are trash, seriously overhyped, JBL have good audio but poor mics and kept falling out of my ears.
