Spotted In the Bristol Costco, seen better deals on Amazon & EBay previously but don’t think there are any deals available at the moment.

Should point out these are the second gen AirPods with wireless charging case, RRP £199.

If you’re VAT registered you can claim the VAT back from any supplier that’s VAT registered. Good effort though.
Finally wireless and not a “refurbished” model heat from me
Yeah that's not a good deal.... At all. You can get the 2nd get for cheaper than that.

Wireless charging?
I LOVE my AirPods (and no, I'm not an iPhone to$$er ) but there is absolutely no advantage AT ALL to paying extra for the wireless charging ones, stick to the standard version.
Almost price of new superior Sony 1000xm3!!!

Except you can wireless charge, which is one advantage......

But maybe not for you.

It's a feature, not an advantage.

They require very infrequent charging, it's no hardship at all to plug them in.

Wireless charging?

I sent the wrong link, but yeah you can get them cheaper with the wireless charging case. This post really isn't worthy of being on here

Advantage:
a beneficial factor or combination of factors

Wireless charging is a feature, correct. This gives the benefit of being able to charge wirelessly, ergo is an advantage.
The ability to charge wirelessly would be useful if you have no cable with you and one of your friends has a smartphone that allows another device to wirelessly charge from it, or indeed your own handset can do it.
I don’t mean to be pedantic, but you were trying to backup that your opinion on the wireless charging feature is not worth paying extra for and you shot down someone who disagreed with your opinion, ‘not cool’ as the youth of today say

I'm not against wireless charging in principle, it's super convenient for things that require regular top ups, as many phones do.

If you own Airpods you will get my point, they only require very occasional charging, even heavy users will probably get 2 weeks or more, definitely not worth paying an extra 30% or so for.

I’ve had mine since launch (or as quickly as I could find them once they were back in stock!) and I love them. I get your point, but with most phones moving towards wireless charging, cable charging will become old tech very soon and so I’d rather pay the extra and keep my devices as future proof as is possible.
I get your point, so I suppose it’s horses for courses - but I do believe some people will think it’s worth paying the premium for
With the recent earphone deals on here this was going to be a hard sell.
Is it a good deal if vat can be claimed back?

I would be interested to know how you would justify claiming the VAT for airpods.
