2015 model. Retina screen. In-store only. National deal but I got the last one, an ex-demo model, at Chiswell Street, in the City. Try your local Currys / PC Worlds.

Happy days.

If you got the last one what is the point of advertising it as a deal …If you got the last one what is the point of advertising it as a deal OP?Very silly.

I got the last one at Chiswell Street store - not the last one in the country. It’s a national deal - try your local stores, but don’t waste your time trying the Chiswell Street one.

So you want everyone to head to currys and hope they have one ?

I don’t think you understand how this site works and what it’s for - do you expect the salesmen to randomly knock on your door?

I only found the deal because I headed to Currys to see if they had a discounted MacBook, but saw this offer there.

Actually I bought it after leaving work yesterday before I went out for the evening. When I got home late at about 1130pm I posted it, but posts are moderated so I presume 6am was when the first mod was awake and approved it.

I can’t say I blame them as they can punt them out on eBay for a profit. I was actually after a discounted Macbook which someone else had posted about after I missed the smaller iMacs which were on-line. Every store will be different though so worth checking - I’m still going to check my local store later.

Don't bother trying Rhyl, Llandudno, Bromborough, Ashton or Bangor, they haven't got any. Lying bitch when I rang Currys said they couldn't put me through to any stores as they don't have phones!!! Another helpful guy tried to find one but said without a product code he couldn't help

None in Wrexham, Chester or St Helens

I think the Currys product code is 128887, which is shown under the price in the photo I posted. Happy hunting.

I think it's because you said it was a national deal but nobody else has found one. Have you got the product number? That would help

Thank you

Been in to currys, iMac and macs are full price? This was in Leeds.

I picked the only one up from Uddingston, had found out about it yesterday when I went to Braehead and they checked the stock. Mine was ex-display, but I'm absolutely delighted with it and would never have found out about it if it hadn't been for the original post on the 21.5" ones. So yes, they do exist, but probably few and far between!

There’s one in Wakef but the bloke told me the screen was smashed. Not sure I believed him but here you go

Did you ask the staff if there were any clearance models? The clearance ones are 2015 models - the 2017 will be full price (unfortunately!).

Currys definitely don't want to help. Their customer services couldn't give a sh*t. Had to phone about 10 times just to check a few stores and got lied to, fobbed off and left hanging on the phone. Glad I found out about their customer services as now it has put me off buying from them. Was desperate to get a Mac but they are not interested unless you are buying new, which I can't afford

I had to specifically state I wanted to check the clearance stock at my local store before they would put me through, and then the people in the store were actually really helpful. They also had a couple of clearance MacBook Pros but I didn't want to be greedy and only really wanted an iMac anyway, they'll no doubt be reduced to roughly £560 on scanning though if other posts are anything to go by.

I did that but they really didn't want to know. I stated I would take any imac on clearance but they wouldn't help without individual product numbers

32240753-O1Gst.jpgThis is in Kidderminster branch. Non-retina so quite old now. That’s all they had Apple yellow Ticket wise.

Still a really good price. Did you order? It costs £809 for that refurbished from Apple

Was just coming on to post that I picked up one of these earlier in Edinburgh Princess St. Was the only one they had.

quad core i5 3.2ghz and 8gb ram? If so, that's a pretty good deal (for an iMac).

Any way I can contact a local store?

Thanks OP. I also managed to pick one up the other day.

The screen does have a light scratch on it in the bottom corner, but it isn't noticeable when on so I can live with it. I don't feel so bad about my 21.5" order being cancelled now

Apparently the call centre can put you through to your local store. Well so I was told by a member of staff in-store yesterday
