Dont get me wrong I am an android fan but when you buy android tablets you never get updates on them. I have got samsung galaxy tab I only updated the tablet once when I bought it in 2015 and there is no more support still using android 6.0 Apple supports their product and updates for years and years. I bought iPad pro for my wife and getting ipad for my son. Apple also replace their product straight away if anything goes wrong Samsung only repairs them or trying to blame you on fault.

Good find, still going to wait for 'Black Friday'

That means it's rubbish if you want to see all the latest shows and movies for free. That alone makes android a much better choice. Also many apps are more expensive on ipad than android because apple takes a huge cut of the money made. If this website is about getting a good deal then that makes this a bad one.

It's rubbish for not letting you steal by watching pirated material? Curse Apple for not helping you do that.

Part of their "huge cut" is making sure that whatever is in the app store actually works and isn't virus ridden.

It doesn't show the discount straight away. They will credit your account in a while.

I agree. I have the galaxy tab s 8.4 and even though I love the screen and prefer the size, I mostly use my iPad as the apps tend to be more polished and optimised.

I plan on purchasing an ipad this year, it will be my first tablet ever so what price should i expect this to drop to over the next a month or two (not in rush if i could save some more)

s the code limited to one ipad or could i buy 2?

Assuming this is the current Gen, isn’t £429 a good price anyway?
Been a while since a I shopped for iPads. I last bought my iPad Air 1 new and 16GB was £399

@mrs_double_u I ordered an ipad from Very on the 5th October when this offer was on previously. I've just called them to ask where my credit is and they have advised me that these credits are not due until the 9th November. I'm sure when I placed the order it was around the start of November. Can I ask when you placed your order as if it's at the same time as me I am a little worried as to why I have not received the credit also. Did you by any chance make a note of the code we had to use I can not for the life of me remember it and I'm sure it's different then the one above.

If my experience is anything to go by I'm really not sure about the use of this code you can keep the ipad for 28 days before returning for a full refund which is before they apply the £50 credit so there is no reassurance you will receive it. I have just spoke to a very rude lady who ignored everything I was saying and kept talking about the current promotion and that it was ongoing and didn't expire until the 9th November when the offer I used did expire right at the very start of the month. I can see the iPad has been put on BNPL and the voucher code automatically put it on that and activated the £50 credit so it does seem that it was accepted I'm just unsure whether I will receive the credit or do I safeguard and return and reorder from somewhere else with no assurances from Very that it will be honoured.

Is the £50 removed from the remaining amount you owe on the ipad or is it just a credit voucher for future purchases?

No the current gen was a bit of a step back in some ways and is only £339 for 32gb. The pro is the one they push and overprice a lot now.

I Agree with everything apart from Samsung repairs who are actually very good on that part. I've gone to them with a damaged screen on a phone and tablet and they've replaced them both times without hassle

Be careful with Very, I bought an iPad pro two weeks ago from them. The iPad came in its box in a mailbag, no cardboard box or packing. Needless to say it came damaged with a red line right through the display. Definitely worth paying that bit more from John Lewis with three year warranty.

If you get rejected for a very credit account does this affect your credit score/history?

That's incorrect. You're referring to the pro model. This isn't the pro, this is the current model 9.7" ipad

Which model is it ?

Did anyone place an order at the start of the month of October when the offer was £50 off a £250 spend or £100 off a £500 spend on Computing or iPads please? And did you by any chance take a screen grab of the Terms and Conditions please.
