Recently bought this iPad when it was on offer for 20% off , £235. Absolute bargain , can’t fault the company . They even included extras like a power bank and headphones.

Good price but don’t count on it as a present until you get it, comments on other threads of them being sent damaged as they send them in a Jiffy bag
I had an iPad delivered by these recently, arrived in a very tatty Jiffy bag, but the iPad box itself wasn’t damaged. Had to return it in the end and had no issues. Decent company to deal with, but maybe need to review their packaging.

Items can get damaged in delivery but to assume it affects every item they ship out is probably incorrect.

Seller does have close to 100% feedback overall

I did not assert that assumption.
What I have done is gave support to other comments that the packaging used by this retailer is substandard for such a high value item.

Anything you disagree with in that?

Expensive methodology of assisting the carrier improving its staff's football skills.
Same tablet currently £239.99 on Eglobal Central. Not everyone's favourite company but I have never had any problems with them. Delivery would probably take a bit longer although my deliveries have usually taken around a week. You can also pick up the 128GB version for £309.99.
I got an ipad from this company in the 20% off deal. Did It come in a bubble wrapped jiffy bag? Sure. Was the ipad box bashed? Sure a little. Was the ipad inside damaged? No. Like the poster above mention it come with some other stuff. A bargain if you ask me. Only downside for some is that it's a US model and if you are ever thinking of selling it at Cex I don't believe they take US imports. Its a Christmas present and the person I'm buying for won't know the difference and rip the box open anyway.

That's why I mentioned it here as it can't be put up as a deal in its own right. Not trying to force anyone to use them but just offering up an alternative cheaper price.

So why did you decide to return the item? Was it because of the cheap UK adapter some people have been talking about?

I had a few iPads from them and they all come with the boxes battered, I did warn them about this before, but they really need just a few layers of bubblewrap around them. I can vouch for this seller though, the iPads I had were good value and plesaed with them.

The Wi-Fi only ones are Global so there is no difference or obvious distinguishing features so I wouldn't worry about that. The UK adapter is one that clips onto the back of the Apple adapter so you've still got a proper Apple plug.
Surprised they sent them in jiffy bags

Self promoting it? this is a deals site, I offered up somewhere that you could get this tablet cheaper, isn't that the point of this site?

Not on Eglobal as its banned because many, many people didn't receive orders and this site owners took many months to finally acknowledge that.

Its banned to put eglobal deals on the site or post links. Its not banned to mention an eglobal deal. No one is forcing anyone to buy, its just information, all buyers should check the prices, evaluate feedback and then decide for themselves.

No. That merchant is currently suspended because (summarising) HUKD feels the merchant's t&c are of potential detriment to the elements of HUKD members who have casual buying habits and / or are not consumer-savvy. Those that are consumer savvy can still use that merchant to obtain great pricing and have confidence in legally-enforceable UK-based support being available for their purchases from foreign sellers with zero requirement to ever communicate with the foreign merchant after payment for the goods.
But this is being heavily debated in another thread and further comment is probably best addressed to that thread hotukdeals.com/dis…457
I too purchased one with the 20% code, I didnt read all the comments so was mighty surprised that they shipped it in a jiffy bag, tracked but not signed for - however the contents were fine. The new Ipad screen feels more plasticy than my old model and its quite reflective. Im sure in time I will get used to it.
