Indeed, but I like the iPad and not the iPhone so much (and not the watch either). I like Apple's iPads for their maybe 4 years of support (as compared to Android's couple of years, depending on supplier), they aren't so costly and perhaps so easy to break/steal as iPhones because they are mostly at home.

They just slow down your device instead

That's grasping manufacturers for you! But even if it slows, I'd trust my credit card to it, rather than an unsupported tablet.

I have asked support for my first iPad bought 7 years ago and had immediate reply and over 30 mins free advice and support

Do I get this from very 1 year guarantee or John Lewis (a physical store) and maybe discounted on Black Friday with a 2 year with the paid accidental or an import from e global...

Pay the wee bit extra and get it shipped from the UK. Eglobalcentral post from China.

Buy from eglobal it is a UK website selling from UK so you are protected …Buy from eglobal it is a UK website selling from UK so you are protected by UK law. They ship from China so delivery takes a bit longer but it is the same Apple product just has a USB converter included for the plug. Warranty is with Apple and valid in the UK. You can also pay by credit card or Paypal if unsure so you are protected there too. Why pay more for the same thing?

But if globalcentral send an iPad mini 4 by mistake, what then? A very costly return to China and long wait chasing PayPal for a refund.

Stick to a UK company, you are only saving a few nuggets anyways.

yeah me too i want to get my daughters new ipads but i cant get them from very they are a nightmare to deal with and even witht he cheaper price it doesnt tempt me

I’d much rather pick up an iPad from an actual store we’re I can go to if there’s any issues. Just hoping maybe Argos do more than the 10% they are offering now

I’m in the same position, do I buy now and get the guaranteed 10% off or take the risk for a little bit more

Can you take the 20% refund from your account to your bank or is it basically store credit to be spent at Very?

The original deal suggests you pay less overall, and it's taken off your bill:

"Enter code MDRMW at checkout, you will receive a 20% refund of the purchase price in a few weeks. You then pay off the £560 interest free at any point within the next 12 months."

Really tempted by this. Has anyone recently received an iPad from them? If so, was it just sent in a plastic bag (and inside the Apple box)? Don’t want to fork out on an iPad Pro with the hassle of sending it back from damage. Thanks.

Bad experience ordering this. So I set up an account online with very for first time. Ordered the iPad with the 20% code but it didn’t show wether the code was accepted or not. So I called to confirm only to be told call back tomorrow. I then called back and was cut off twice, when I got through a 3rd time I was told because I was a new customer I couldn’t get the 20% off. Order cancelled n time wasted. Excellent deal if you can get it but bad customer service from company.

any apple products can be taken to an Apple store?

cheapest place by a country mile unless you want to buy from abroad

never really get the negativity towards Very.

Prices are in line with high st and often better
Yes if you miss payments or don't pay off within the stated timframes you'll pay silly interest But I find most bad reviews are due to that personal incompetence rather than very

These deals are 0% interest if paid off within 12 m a minute over and you pay 39%.. a simple concept

sorry just checking that the credit is refunded back to your card and not a the very account where you have to spend the balance?

thanks

In the original deal people claimed to be able to use this code:
hotukdeals.com/com…529

Think I'll get the regular iPad 128gb , how is this deal cold,
never had a problem with very, pay off well before any chance of being charged full interest,
set up a dd if you cannot get yourself to make payment on time
problems with the iPad, go to an Apple story . It really is that simple

i was lucky a few years ago to get the ipad3 (within weeks of launch) on the very hukd,
as a goodwill gesture the honoured the pricing error to honest folk who hadn't bought10

You have to add the ipad to your very account, once cooling off period for returning it has ended they credit your very account so the amount you owe is the net. you then have up to 12m to pay it off interest free although unlike a credit card if you go a day over.. they don't just start charging you 39.99% interest from that day, they charge it you for the full year you've had interest free and then its debt and you pay full 39.99% interest on your outstanding balance until repaid
as other peeps have said, pay it off before the deadline and youve got an absolute deal that the colder voters wont show me where they are cheaper

thanks, makes sense ive never been the brightest. i agree very rarely find apple products reduced certainly newer models. my daughters wil be over the moon and once i sell there phones the upgrades would have cost about #200 each which isn't bad for a upgrade as they are on the plusnets 5.00 a month deal

I think people didn't like that this was a 'me too' thread that highlighted iPads (rather than iPhones) and the eGlobal Central iPads are cheaper (but ship from further away).

received a dispatch mail and then shortly after a mail confimring credit of jus tover four hundred pounds will be credited to my account 28th decemeber. will have to see how mcuh the iphone 6's go for to reduce the cost even further
