great price op, heat up

It sounds like a good deal but I'm not sure if I can trust them. ie: sounds too good to be true even though the screen has been changed.

If your going to buy it then worth paying extra £20 for 32GB version from same seller

Like say maybe to good to b true???

40k 99% feedback must count for something?

great price!!

Great price - mine be here in the morning!

I have this a 32GB and its fine.

ordered the 32GB and am happy. was contemplating Samsung tab s2 but saw this - high res screen to view medical /radiology books and images. Mini 2 would have done too

To be fair the IPad Air are the best tablets on the market IMO. They just...work!

2% of users have posted neutral or negative feedback in last 6 months. Not great, really.

I would be more worried about Apple pulling the plug on updates, resulting in apps etc that cannot be updated.

If the screen has been replaced on these (by anyone other than Apple), absolutely 100% do not touch these - they quality of parts is poor (because they are third-party and QC is no good) and the digitizer (e.g. touch) will fail within months. The repair on an iPad is vastly harder than a phone as they are glued together - separating these parts requires a heat gun and incredible precision. When the glass is broken, these are virtually scrap and only good for parts.

Also, on another note, iOS 9 actually cripples the 1st gen Air with 1GB RAM, it really shouldn't do but it becomes noticeably sluggish. Surprisingly convenient then that the Air 2, mini 4 and Pro (and upcoming Air 3/Pro) all have 2GB RAM or more...

As this is still a current model (still sold by Apple) that is unlikely to happen for quite a while.

I disagree, that means 98% are happy, which I think is pretty good in this day and age when people tend to complain about silly things

To put it into perspective, the iPad 2 (not Air 2!) is still supported up to the latest version of iOS, and that was released back in March 2011!

32GB Space Grey OOS but still in stock for silver

Heat! Ordered the 32GB in silver since Space grey out of stock

People will only realise what a good deal this is once it is OOS. If you are considering it, Get it!

Hot. Ordered 32GB in silver. Due to be delivered tomorrow. At this price can you afford not to order?

Hot deal. Was gonna buy one but opted for a Samsung Galaxy tab s 10.5 instead. The screen on that is ah-mazzzz-ing. Seriously.

was gonna get until I saw grade 2

ordered......Thank op

This isn't really how ebay works, as it asks you to complete your feedback, and its quick and easy to do, good feedback is common. However a bad experience that would result in a bad review on other websites can often be avoided by an ebay seller, if and item takes ages or is damaged ebay encourage you to 'work this out with the seller' and they even warn you about this when you are about to leave negative feedback, asking you to message the seller to sort it out.

In this way if it is 'sorted out' ebay discourages negative feedback. I have recently bought some castors which were just posted loose in a plastic bag, 2 of them arrived with broken parts, I asked for replacements and they were again sent loose in a plastic bag and again one of them broke, at this point the seller refunded the cost of one wheel.

On any other site this would be a clear case of bad service and negative feedback. On ebay because the seller 'sorted it out' in the end negative feedback is discouraged. This seller had a similar 98% feedback rate, selling hundreds of items the few negatives were the few ebayers who actually decided to relay their experience.

Long and short of it is that even a couple of percentage points off in the feedback score can indicate a questionable seller.

Suggest getting one of these.

My only worry is the Chinese warehouse, otherwise it's an excellent bit of kit for the money.

Yes, but you would never want to run iOS 9 on the iPad 2, it's a horrible experience!

Change to "out of stock". As I said, they don't have any in, but they generally get them in daily.

Smartfonestore should be better - at least they won't be 'refurbs' (read: scrapped device with a new screen or glass stuck on) just used/second-hand devices.
