For those voting cold, please explain why a free 3 year warranty and a potential £30 reduction against the RRP is cold?

I spoke to customer services and the website is being updated

Good deal with 3yr warranty, but shame JL aren't on TCB/Quidco. Can get 1.5% Quidco (£8.68) from PC World, but the extra 2yrs warranty worth a lot more

Dear Mr x,

Thank you for your price match request for the Apple iPad Air, Apple A7, iOS 7, 9.7”, Wi-Fi & Cellular, 32GB, Space Grey.

In order to apply a price reduction on a purchase, the criteria in our pricing policy must be met. I regret that after review the request you have submitted does not match all or parts of this policy.
We match prices publicly available to all UK customers, based on those displayed in the shop, the first price quoted to us over the phone or the price openly accessible on a competitor’s website. We will not match prices only available to certain customers such as negotiated prices, special deals from voucher codes or exclusive offers for groups such as account holders and club members. This means that I am unable to include any cash back offer's that can be used to reduce the competitors price at a later date. We can only consider prices which you would pay for an item on the day of purchase.
The publicly available price for this item, as displayed on PC World's website, is £579.00. This is the same price as at John Lewis.com. Therefore, I cannot match their lower price after cash back by redemption is applied at a later date.
If you wish to view more information about Never Knowingly Undersold or our pricing policy, you can do so on our website:

I am sorry I have not been able to reduce the price on this occasion. If you require any further information or assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely,

Jamie Harvey
