Ya its really hot....

Could be a indication of a new version being released soon!

Apple keynote on September 10 (rumoured) but I believe that's for the iPhone. iPad launch probably in Oct. But this is still a hot deal!

Great price, heat added.

September 10th is the release date for ios7

Sure sign that new models are on their way. If you keep an eye on eBay then this is around the normal price for legit new ones from sole trader sellers anyway.

Based on past conduct, the GM will be released on the 10th. This is only available to developers. We will probably see the public release 1-2 weeks after the GM release.

Definitely a new version on the way soon, but unlikely to be announced on the Sep. 10th Keynote. More than likely will be coming in time for Christmas.

Heat from me

Best to wait for the new one with Retina display (allegedly).

Awesome deal. Got a iPad Mini 16gb myself - will wait for the next increment..

Always amazed Apple could trademark a bodypart!

Saw this a couple of days ago and really considered whether i'd kick myself in a couple of months... I chose not to buy one. If you need/want one now, then great, buy this one. If you're willing to wait a couple of months, the new models will be out and this version with be dropping its price like a walrus on a surfboard.

Voted hot as the price cannot be beaten... yet!

If you don't want to pay a premium for apple products, that's your issue . At this time, this is a good deal.

Sent from my Nexus 7.

Don't like eBuyer - all the support staff I spoke to really need to go on a customer relationship course, couple the fact they charge extra to post to NI and I'm voting cold, good deal otherwise...

ebuyer selling them off, because they've probably already got retina ipad minis in stock ready for september 10th

Thanks bought may be a new version due but the 64gb price of the new one will be huge compared to this also my experience of iPad upgrades is that in reality performance wise there does not seem to massive differences between generations I still use my iPad 2.

Very cheap and could certainly be an indicator that we'll see new iPads at next week's event. Certainly wouldn't normally get this level of discount, even refurbs are £355 from Apple.

1.57% Topcashback or 1.5% Quidco. Which works out at about a fiver.

They have to announce something soon, they can't let the nexus stay this far ahead and so much cheaper for too long. The only benefit they currently have is their OS, but if they fall too far behind their customers may start to look at android or even windows.

Same old rubbish spouted every year "they must do this" and mentions of price. As per the last 10 years Apple have a conference in September regarding iPods, subsequently this has included the iPhone and iPads. In more recent times they have moved new Macs to July - October - to fit the Intel roadmap so other new devices can be released.

There's no panic, if anything less panic, the Nexus range offers great devices but look at the software on iOS.

As for price well the iPad Mini RRP is £269, regularly sells for £200-220 second hand. Nexus 2012, £169, sells for £100. Same Total cost of ownership.....

Except the nexus 7 has been available nearly 50% longer, so those tco costs only apply if you waited to get the nexus but got the ipad on release. Not that it matters, like you say their strong point is their OS. If you are already invested in apple it's a big jump to leave, iTunes especially. I may be wrong, but I believe all that is lost if you move to android?

Android is too fragmented, especially now Samsung are making android devices that only work with other Samsungs. The whole openness could really be it's death, Google should insist on some core interoperability standards and charge a much larger fee if they are not included by a manufacturer. Apple will never have this issue, and whilst I prefer android myself I'd never recommend it to my mum for example. There are too many way to do things, too many simil ar apps that don't quite work the same, and too many different overlays to give branding that alter core functionality. It's still for geeks really, without a unified approach it alway will be. It may outsell apple on handsets, but I bet most of them are used purely as a phone and Web browser only.

All of which is wildly off topic! I voted hot for the price right now, but I'd be waiting for the new one.

No new iPads in sight today! Makes this deal all the better
