£57 a month, £9.99 upfront cost. 128 gb silver version. 30gb of data a month. 24 month contract. Just ordered. Seemed a great deal to me. Hope it may help someone after one!

I've no idea why that came up. I simply put in £57 a month 24 months and they've changed title
Why would hotukdeals do this to me? Is it because I voted leave?
24 months. Can obviously pay off device plan early and cancel airtime

I'm guessing somebody is trying to make it more accurately reflect the cost of the product, it originally said £66.99. If it is 24 months the cost is a mind blowing £1,377.99.

No.
Fair enough but I looked at monthly as £57. Added up over 24 months is going to be loads but hey that's a contract isn't it! Oh well, someone might fancy it!

That is exactly how they want you to look at it. When looking at a contract it is always a good idea to add up the total cost including the monthly spend. I have no idea if the deal is good or not, so I did a bit of looking.

You could buy an ipad pro from john lewis for £499 (with that lovely john lewis warranty).

You could then get a 4g sim only deal from giffgaff (using o2 network). They will give you unlimited data for £20.00p/m (throttled after 6gb, don't know what they throttle like - it could be terrible, it could be fine).

Total cost = £499.99 + (£20.00 * 24 months) = £979.99

That is quite a saving, if you can afford the ipad upfront I would consider cancelling your order.

This ladies and gents is how you get into debt
Maybe I'm wrong but I've just looked at the John Lewis website & this iPad is £899? It's the 12.9 inch

£899 on JL website?
This is the 12.9" iPad Pro, 128gb WiFi & Cellular model. £899 at JL as noted above:

johnlewis.com/app…rey

The £499 model is the WiFi-only 32gb 9.7" version.

Don't forget this also has 4gb ram, unlike the 2gb in the 9.7 model.
