I've posted a few deals from eGlobal in the past, I've never had a single issue with them so far.
Until last week when my newly purchased £1000 camera came in battered box with missing contents and in used condition. Reported this immediatelly to the eGlobal Central but they are completely ignoring me and my requests regarding the condition of the product that came in.

You post sale Customer Service and protection - doesn't exist, I just want to make it crystal clear.
If your device will die within weeks after purchase. You are without your luck.

Hope Claim on Paypal will save the day, unless when returned eGlobal will declare they have received empty box.
Without them I would be extremely dissapointed to say the least to keep the culture of conversation here within it's margins.

They are sketchy. Be cautious.

All our products are sourced from reputable suppliers around the world.

However in order to give you the best possible price, you might Receive a Japanese variant of the device that you are trying to order.

There are no functional differences aside from a shutter sound when using the camera.

Brilliant price!
Heat, guessing the iPads are on offer as well, will they turn up though.

Maybe not before the 2019 model is announced next month, who knows?
For the first time ever I think we will see some big discounts on the older Apple products in the Black Friday sale this year.
would you know if it is possible to buy apple care with this product (from Apple)

Based on what exactly?
Import duty and vat to pay on this?
This would be better than a laptop in the same price range, storage aside, wouldn’t it?

As long as Apple recognise it as under 1 year old at the point of buying Apple Care then yes - you'd just need to go to an Apple Retail store and a member of staff can sell the apple care to you after checking the condition and working order of the iPad.

This model was only launched in November 2018, so I'd expect the gap to be similar again to be fair.

But then again there was 19 months between the first generation iPad Pro and the second generation iPad Pro and 17 months between the second generation iPad Pro and the third generation iPad Pro.

Also the rumoured 5G iPad Pro isn't due until 2021 if you believe the tech rumour sites.

  • iPad Pro 12.9in (1st gen): Nov 2015
  • iPad Pro 9.7in: Mar 2016
  • iPad Pro 12.9in (2nd gen): Jun 2017
  • iPad Pro 10.5in: Jun 2017
  • iPad Pro 12.9in (3rd gen): Nov 2018
  • iPad Pro 11in: Nov 2018

No, not really. There have been leaks recently and if they’re going to release it at all this year it will be next month. If you believe the rumours anyway. I’m inclined to give the iPhone leaks were just as they predicted and just as boring!

That and the fact the iPad is already leagues ahead of the market

Depends on what you use it for, MacOS and Windows10 are far more advanced operating systems with better app support.
I'm no Apple fan but iOS 13 is going to make this beast a worthwhile competitor to Surface tablets, Chrome books and basic laptops for productivity.

Having better file support including connecting to usb storage is one of a few things which will elevate this.

Never mind the small feature of having the keyboard minimised and movable without it taking up half the screen... About time Apple!

I totally agree. I was all set to buy whatever the next Surface Pro will be but now for the first time the iPad pro is quite compelling.
If it wasn't for me wanting a device to get creative again (art/design etc) I'd still go with Surface as I think it's the more complete device but from a creative standpoint it looks like the iPad is hard to beat.
I wish the Surface could have better pen->touch>app integration especially in Affinity as I dont want to buy into apple again but it is hard to ignore now. I'll wait for the next ipad pro though (not having any of this bending nonsense).
Likely to be new iPad Pros in October but probably just a spec bump.
Cracking deal

Sorry for your bad experience. Always recommend to make purchases from overseas/untried companies using a credit card rather than through PayPal, as they will often settle quickly in your favour if you have the proof - and like another poster has said, I’d always record the unboxing just in case. Good luck, and I hope you get this resolved to your satisfaction.
So what’s the chances of getting a dodgy iPad? Are they genuine sellers?
Why is 64GB's even an option on a device like this lol.

I would also advise paying directly by credit card in future for products over £100, as you would normally get Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 as protection. Even if you used a credit card via PayPal, you still won't normally get Section 75 protection.

Lastly, if you are worried about the potential empty box scenario occurring, I would advise video recording all the contents of the box (showing the used condition). And then the video showing you packaging the item afterwards - clearly showing the postage label/tracking ref number at the end too.

Thanks a lot about informing me regarding this section 75 regulation. I'd certainly take this into account next time around making a significant transaction online.

That's exactly what I was planning to do, recording and placing the parcel on small scale to record also the weight of the parcel.
Whenever parcel is leaving country for overseas it's beeing measured and weighted again in sorting centre.
So if they will claim me back I will have an additional evidences against them.

Thanks again for input.

Should be fine, but my sister bought an iPhone XR from CEX, and since it was over 90 days old, Applecare couldn't be added on. Warranty expires April next year on it.

Pretty grim.
