Hot for me.
Better off spending the extra £14 and getting a three year warranty from John Lewis.
i just love the fact that I had no idea this was coming out. finally apple are losing their grip.
That's a lot of cold votes within an hour
A 2% saving! Hold me back!
Waiting to see what Black Friday will bring before I purchase
'Free delivery of course'.

I'd want it delivered by Noel Edmonds in a hovercraft for £665 oO

Thats what im waiting for. Could buy one now through the miserly student discount... Just waiting. Apparently there was nothing last year in uk for black friday from Apple, ironic as them being along with Amazon key reasons for the popularisation of what is an American custom.

I use a basic 16GB Wifi iPad Air all the time. Its a great consumption device, but thats it.

I would genuinely buy an iPad Pro if iOS 9.1 wasn't so buggy at selecting text, copying and pasting. It just doesn't work (its never been great, but iOS 9 it seems worse than ever). You copy things, then paste and it pastes the previous thing (i.e. it doesn't copy when it says it does). Lots of bugs with Safari too.

Selecting stuff is a nightmare with touch in iOS, I doubt its any better with the £80 Pencil. (and just writing that is annoying - '£80 Pencil')

A4 tablet for PDF would be very handy. Nice Hardware, but just don't think iOS is up to it, in terms of a £700+ device. Needs a lot of work, before it is, before iOS is anything other than software to support a consumption device/Apps.

Tim Cook believes his own evangelical hype far too much, at least Steve Jobs was self critical enough to see the flaws in a product, make sure they were as good as they could be.

I agree with everything you've said here.

If you want something for just pdfs then I'll recommend the Kindle DX - you'll need to ebay it but I used it at uni instead of an iPad for textbooks. Fantastic device if a tiny bit slow in comparison to what's available today.
You can't compare a kindle DX to I iPad pro it's the daddy of all tablets trust me.

I know how amazing the ipad pro is, I tested one haha! I was just offering up an alternative for 1/5th of the price that if you're just looking at pdfs is a good solution!

I C i understand loving my ipad pro its just in your face all the time lol.
It's expensive but people forget the Galaxy Note 12 was around the same price when launched and did not have better specs than 8" or 10" versions (save 12" of course).

The Surface 4 is more expensive and while it can run "legacy" Win32 programs, Microsoft is doing its best to kill that off - are "Universal" apps any better than iOS/Android versions?

Not as good as a Surface Pro, it's the daddy! Apple are copying Microsoft rather than leading like they once did.
