Apple do make dual sim phones as well as ones with esim. I think it’s the Chinese market that don’t do esim so get a normal dual sim version

I’d love a dual sim iPhone. It’s the reason I’ve been thinking hard about going Android. Might get a Chinese one instead. I was always under the impression on Android phones were dual sim.

I think some of these sellers do send from China so will actually be the real dual version, maybe someone else can confirm??
Is it reliable to be trusting these out of Europe websites? Will it still be Apple warrantied

Apple warranty is global. But I’m personally not one to risk an eGlobal purchase. Definitely recommend it to be a credit card purchase if you did want to go for it though!

Apologies I thought it wasn't. The actual warranty text is rather vague on it:-

apple.com/leg…tml

"Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and HomePod to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device."

I guess mileage may vary.
tempted to buy but if i want to resell would ppl buy it ?

According to the Apple store in Hong Kong you will get global warranty on wifi only products, cellular products will only receive warranty in the country of purchase.
iPhone 11 A2223
The iPhone 11 A2223 is the model for China and Hong Kong. If you are interested in physical Dual-SIM feature, this is the only version that allows inserting two nano-SIM cards to its SIM card tray. eSIM is not supported in this version.

its missing LTE band 21 so if you go on holiday to Japan, 4G might not work

You’ll definitely only get 1 year warranty, but buy in uk and Apple give you 2 years kind of warranty if bought direct from them and a lot of other big companies cover the second year as well under sale of goods act but buy foreign it’s 1 year direct with Apple and nothing else.

Using code 20GOO brings it down to 698.99 !
If you get past the fact it’s eglobal (who I’ve bought 2x expensive cameras and 1 warranty claim thru), then isn’t a dual sim iPhone quite desirable? I’d think this would resell easily. Buy AppleCare to avoid eglobal warranty issues.

missing a Japanese 4g band doesn’t seem like a big loss.

(I bought an iph0ne 7 in Canada and managed to claim on AppleCare in UK

All companies have to give two years if purchased in Europe - it's EU law.

In the UK, it's up to 5/6 years due to UK law (depending on what part of the country you are in)
Although I don’t fancy:

All our products are sourced from reputable suppliers around the world.

However in order to give you the best possible price, you might Receive a Japanese variant of the device that you are trying to order.

There are no functional differences aside from a shutter sound when using the camera.

but I don’t think Japan does dual sim, so it would have to be Hong-Kong, no?

The 5/6 years you are referring to appears to be the limitations act 1980, where you have a certain time to bring any claim to court. 5 years in scotland and 6 years in england and wales. Its not a warranty as such and it may not apply if you were to take a county court claim against a non uk/eu company. After 6 months it is the customer who has to prove the item purchased had an inherent fault when supplied. So it wont be easy to prove if you’ve had the item for several years.
TobyDeals.co.uk have the same phone for £697.42 using code CART3 if anyone prefers that site.
