Customs charges aren't an issue. But if the courier looses your item, you'll get NOTHING back off eGlobal. I'm £1073 down after Hermes lost a Canon lens. eGlobal washed their hands of it. I'd suggest avoiding them like the plague

Wary of getting the Japanese version with persistent shutter. Not worth the risk in my eyes.
Slightly better than the amazon de deal. Voted hot but i'd be wary spending £20 on eglobal never mind £500+

Had a friend who had the same experience. Phone got lost and they didn't want to know and did not care either. Would recommend avoiding and will never shop with them again after seeing the email exchanges between them.

Think it was the one listed at £605 for the green iPhone 11 64gb. I managed to get one before it got oos.

I wouldn't bother, tried to buy my wife and I 256GB Huawei P30 Pro's from them, paid £700 for each up front via PayPal, delivery was supposed to be in 7 days...

They messed me around with delivery delayed after 5 days with zero contact and said they couldn't confirm when they could fulfil my order.

I cancelled abf they refunded in about 4 days.

Have you tried a chargeback from your CC provider?

Have you tried a chargeback from your CC provider?

I've currently got a PayPal claim open. Still not resolved after 7 weeks though. I think I'll call the bank and ask for their advise regards a section 75 due to the time it's taking PayPal
Not sure its worth the risk if they won’t refund lost items - no customs either? Are they marking the cost down on the packaging? If so, very risky.
This is only semi-related to the deal but is there any provider that's decent and will provide theft/loss insurance for an iphone bought overseas? Recently bought one in HK. from the Apple Store there.

Bought a redmi note 8pro from eglobal a few weeks back. Took just over a week to come, no customs charges. Just ordered another from them I was that impressed with the phone, awaiting delivery been a few days.
I’ve taken a punt on this. Paid with credit card, so all should be OK in theory! Too good an offer to miss out on. Even if it does end up being the Japanese one, the quiet shutter wouldn’t have been worth £150!

Incidentally, the promo code wasn’t accepted.
Sad reflection of the state of HUKD that the likes of eglobal , aliexpress, gearbest are even allowed on here never mind seem to dominate the tech deals. Obviously affiliate income takes priority over everything else now Wouldn't touch any Chinese seller after getting ripped off by a long time partner on aliexpress, it's like the wild west of retail.

Exactly, if a seller is willing to avoid a countries import duties and tarrifs what else are they willing to do. Pretty bad that HUKD is complicit in promoting revenue evasion.

NO, they ship from Hong Kong and you will be waiting for at least 4 weeks till you get it if get at all...No CS at all-eGlobal never reply you if any problem! It will be 100% Japanese market phone with bloody loud camera shutter sound, which is very annoying, especially indoors. Few my mates never received their orders and had to fight for refund, with waiting times up to 63 days. Bear this in mind before making decision of buying grey import. Saving couple of £££ might be not worth the hassle....

They ship from Hong Kong to a European location, then ship from there to you. There's no customs issue. It takes ages though.

You are talking rubbish. I have ordered many items, including phones and all of them came from Hong Kong and were delivered by Hermes with their postage sticker. Never paid duty, as eGlobal pays it, but waited 3-to 9 weeks for delivery. Remember: ordering from them is the same as playing Russian Roulette.

I've ordered lenses and a phone too and each time they were shipped from Switzerland. Either way, if they pay the customs or not, there's no risk to you
Got iPhone 11 from them, it is Japanese market one, with LOUD shutter sound. Waited 5 weeks for delivery.
Ordered Apple AirPods and never received them. Had a message form Eglobal they are OOS and when asked for refund - never heard back from them! And PayPal refunded, but 2 months waiting time for refund...

Do you not forgo sec 75 cover as soon as you use paypal?
Cold cold cold
Ordered some airpods and they turned up within 4 days. No problem
how are this lot allowed to have deals posted but tobydeals arent? They all appear hit and miss.
Obviously people with a bad experience are more likely to post about said bad experience with eGlobal, but just to add some balance - I've ordered some Beats headphones and an iPad Pro from them in the past and they arrived promptly and without issue.

Won't be eligible for a section 75 claim as there's a break in the creditor, debtor, supplier chain as a payment agregator has been used. Could continue to dispute with PayPal or dispute the PayPal charge with your CC company, but it'll be tough with the CC company as it's not PayPal's responsibility to manage the shipping, it's the seller. People thing using agregators make things safer, but a lot of the time it just makes things more complicated and removes some protections you have with your CC.
This is posted every week.

Why does this get hot so quickly? Because of the high commission

Is it related to the affiliated links HUKD? Yes

Are you bothered that customers are getting ripped off by using this company? **** No

The EU and UK government need to move with the times and bring the likes of PayPal, Venmo, Square etc under a legally binding chargeback scheme.
Still in stone age... unlocked for all UK networks
It has been locked before and customer from France can't buy it
