Probably why this one is now getting heat then.
Frustrated that the 11 series is so ugly especially with a case leaving that huge square cut out

By the looks of it that’s here to stay even when they change the phone design itself the camera cut out will be there and looks like it will even grow with more lenses

Great point
If you have a very account you don’t need a credit check, and why would you be worried? If you can’t afford it then don’t buy

And if you don’t have a Very account (most people)? It’s not a question of being able to afford it; it’s the credit score impact. Great deal if you’re indifferent about that, but if I want a loan or a new credit card...

That isn't what they mean. Opening a new line of credit will decrease your score (granted you can ultimately improve it again), but if you're wanting a loan in the near future, or mortgage, you want your score as high as possible. It doesn't matter if you've had an account for years, the decrease would be offset by now
gedymiah713/11/2019 17:38

Who cares?

When a genuine folding UK one is worth £30 then I do care.

Sad times. An adaptor is a £1. Use your brains better.

Is this always the case. I opened my Very account two months ago and my score went up without me spending anything on it. It was the only change on my report.
Never used this company before but doing some quick research suggests they are Hong Kong based. Any warranty is with wowcamera and therefore to explore the manufactures warranty you would need to process it within the Hong Kong region. I’m not an expert but I would rather pay the extra and have the comfort knowing it can all be sorted with apple in the UK
Is the company ok? Has anyone used them?
Subject to hongkong law. They sell non eu phones
heathead13/11/2019 17:47

Because a time machine would cost more than the £18 difference.

I've used them for Samsung phones. They were shipped from the EU and were EU models. Samsung confirmed warranty on IMEI number as Samsung UK honour EU model variants. No idea on Apple's stance, but my experience with WOWCamera has always been great.
Do not buy from this company they are based in Hong Kong and it will cost you £50 to return your item if it isn’t perfect!!!!

Just a heads up the iPhone 11 doesn't come with one of those plugs anyway. Only the Pro's do

There's problems with all companies on TrustPilot, have you seen the issues with John Lewis, Curry's + AO?

I checked the WowCamera companies house address which is UK registered and if they where that dodgy then HotUKDeals would not allow them to be featured on the site.

You are protected when purchasing with a credit card and with Paypal, also Paypal would not allow the company to use them as a financial advisor if the majority of purchases where dodgy or required refunds.

Some people are naturally weary of companies we have never heard off.
