Spending near grand at eGlobal is risky...And it will be Japan market model, so second Sim will be eSIM, just the same as in the UK. Beware if you prefer 2 physical SIM card slots. Also be prepared to wait 4 weeks for delivery.

Cause I was not ordering Chinese crap

Oh, those iPhones are assembled in a different China, right?
Only apple could make a phone this expensive and still only put 64gb of memory in...

Can you pay PayPal?

Can you pay PayPal?

course you can and even with credit card you will be covered, many get their orders in 14 days, and someone on another thread was saying less than 7 earlier and for a few quid extra you can get tracked insurance postal as well which gives you text messages throughout the delivery. They get mixed reviews but their review score on trust pilot is higher than John Lewis and there are many happy customers on here. Add in global warranty the only real issue for some would be the camera noise other than that save the money.
If you have problems - good luck with PayPal or CC. You will be waiting for your refund for ages. My mate waited 53 days to get money back from PayPal when payed to eGlobal and never received item he ordered. In other hand, I have ordered well over £3k from eGlobal and never had any problems, maybe I am lucky

Bad experience with these guys.....Ordered Samsung Galaxy Note9 10 months ago, waited 10 days, contacted them, said out of stock but will be back soon (4 days) Requested cancel order - no response from them anymore. Requested refund from PayPal - waited 42 days for decision. And another 11 days to get money to my account. Wont buy again from eGlobal - too much hassle..
Good price OP, I have been eyeing this for a while.
I wanted to have an idea on which variant did they give you Japanese or Chinese? and how long it is taking to deliver for these pro models?
Mandatory shutter sound or not on this model?
How can I filter deals from this seller?

Surely this can be turned off in settings?

Will this take a uk micro sim then?

Apparently for the Japanese market, the shutter sound cannot be turned off in any settings. It's a legal thing.

So to answer my own question, this is the China/Hong Kong version and so it shouldn't have the shutter sound limitation.

Apparently if you use a 3rd party camera app this can be worked around.

If it's a special offer, eGlobal ship fast (likely from DE). I got my 9T 6/128 ordered on a Tuesday evening, delivered Saturday morning.

No, not always. I made over 75 orders at eGlobal over 4 years and fastest one delivered was in 5 days and was not on any special offer or so. But this order was the only one delivered fast. It takes 4 weeks usually to get order. But as said earlier - if any problems-brace yourself for long long wait of your money back...

Lol 75 orders and not a single one as fast as my 9T? That's bad luck.

I don't understand why we don't get true dual-SIM, eSIM is a pile of ****, yet another in a long line of anti-consumer practices. I see it makes sense for things like smartwatches but for a phone, it exists purely to hold you at the mercy of the carrier.
eSIM will eventually change physical SIM in all phones, just a question of time.
As for now, only EE (contract and PAYG) and O2(contract only) supports it. I am with EE, so transferred my physical SIM to eSIM in 1 minute.
Do you not get any import charges for these type of orders?
Heavenkiss18/10/2019 14:54

You wouldn't think it was crazy if you was one of the tonnes of women/girls being sexually assaulted, pictures up skirt etc on their public transport every day. Its a big problem there, the men are animals
great price.
heat added.
I'm a fan of eglobal, bought many items from them in the past couple of years, always spot on service and great savings.
What about warranty, would a UK apple store touch it?

On another note why not buy through Very?
TCB are offering 14% off when you place your first Credit order with Very, If you dont wanna take advantage of the credit just pay it off immediately.
If my Maths is correct 64GB will come in at £902, more expensive but its a UK model at least.

Reports suggest they'll happily do so internationally.

Looks like you’ve done £1049 - 14% to get £902? Cash back is pre-VAT.

Really?
Im not too familiar with TCB tbh, I've only used it the odd times but I've never noticed its only pre-VAT price.

Ex Vat Price is 874.17 (Taken from Clove) so If I've not miscalculated you're looking at £122'ish cashback, which would bring to around £922.
Not as appealing (I use this word loosly) as £902 but still an alternative If you wanted UK stock at a lower price.

I was planning to go this option for the 256GB model next month, as I refuse to pay £1119 but would like to upgrade my iPhone 7 and this way from Very looks like the cheapest I'll get it.

Shame you can't use the Very 10% first credit order voucher code in conjunction with TCB lol

Of course their not sorry there are enough crazy people in the world buying their inferior products for silly money when their not glueing themselves to things or jumping on trains...

so I opened a dispute on Paypal at 30th of September and still fighting to get my money back.
So be careful
