If you can avoid using musicmagpie at all costs.
I've had my first purchase with them recently, and it was just awful.
iPhone 13 labelled as in good condition came in a deplorable state, with scuffs marks and scratches all over the frame.
Raised the issue over the ebay citing the noticed problems and providing pictures. Musicmagpie had no choice but to accept my return request.
I've been provided with label by them and the item was returned back to them. A day later I was welcomed by ebay message that musicmagpie opened a case against me for not receiving the item even though tracking was showing that the delivery was made a day prior.
I've made a contact attempt with them but they remained silent to any of my emails. Had to contact directly ebay and tried to get some more information, but they said case will be placed on hold for 7 days as they have to investigate it.

Hear me out, I have no phone, no funds and musicmagpie trying to pull a scam on me because they are a well-established seller on ebay so they can do more than any common folk.

Collected enough pieces of evidence from ebay, royal mail so I contacted AMEX and they did a chargeback for me which was also slightly hinted by ebay to my surprise.

Purchased another unit from cheapest electricals from ebay and the whole experience was from another world.
The phone also in good condition came in the original box which was slightly tatty, but the phone itself was great.

Avoid buying from MGP, they will screw-you-over if they have a slight chance of doing so.48159991-BBHCw.jpg
While I never had any issues returning any item to MM, I do completely agree with the questionable grading by them especially their Good condition phones. Every Good condition item I bought from them, was in really bad condition and had to be sent back. And also completely agree with what you say for Cheapest Electricals, every item from them I have bought including number of iPhones have been excellent. (edited)

The last 3 phones I've had from Music Magpie have been in terrible condition, huge scratches on the screen, and for that reason alone I'd avoid them. I've been able to return them, and recieved a full refund, but I'll not bother with them again.
I've sent back my last two - they used to be ok but from my recent experience the quality is not what it was.

64gb is not big enough any more, at least half of that storage is now ios. Ok for just using as a phone i suppose.
    iOS is only 8 gigs???

Music magpie have seriously gone backwards recently with their grading of phones!! Last 3 have all gone back as in completely different from grades. It seems that they get promoted way to much by this site, regardless of people's feedback!!! Don't forget it's not a DEAL just on the price for a used phone, but the condition. And music magpie have been terrible for a few years now!!

If you check eBay each day, may come across a much better deal I got basically a new 11 pro max month ago for £375 has 6 months warranty left on it and 100% battery health (edited)
Hi, can you please give more details
Which criteria should I put or look for...

    Hi switchy
    Quick question
I have got an iphone 11 pro max in a pristine condition (not a single scratch)
Interested in bying a new iphone but wondering what do you think the best thing to do in terms of value for my phone? Is it to trade with apple? Sell to cex? Or something else?
Sell on ebay. Even after fees it is easily the best value. Trade in or cex prices are poor.

This part puts me off the most - if the battery is replaced, you get a nag screen. If the display is replaced with a cheaper part you can get a bigger chin (bottom bezel) or worse still, a terrible LCD, etc. I highly advise if you have any replaced parts on your phone, to return it immediately as these low-grade parts just don't last very long.
I got one. Went on to see battery health and the phone informed me that it couldn't as it was a non apple battery.

Bought a 256Gb in very good condition, recieved one marked up good instead
However the main issue is the battery health can't be checked as the phone states it's not a genuine apple part

    It's getting returned
Same old story.... grading like an eBay seller time for these to be blacklisted by HotUKDeals.

Got a good condition one 2 days back with the 20% code. Phone is in almost perfect condition. Would say its worth the risk as you can return. Hopefully more of you get lucky
    What is your battery health?

I got a front glass all covered in small wear - as you would expect from general use over the year or so and totally not visible uless you specifically look for them. Battery health - 87%.

Any good price for Silver model?
Just bought an iPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb in silver from MM eBay, £337 with a 10%off code
  16. Avatar
Also spotted XS Max for 256GB for I think it was 250 odd if you want more storage and obviously a downgrade in other departments.

Got one of these from them the other week. Great condition even though its their lowest ranking. Battery life at 87% but holds out longer than my 13 pro for 1/3 of the cost.

No 5G or I'd be tempted. 4G is awful in my area now.

    what a steal!

sorry but the 2 phones I've had from MM have both been awful, one was Chinese and facetime was disabled, both had batteries hovering around 80% and one clearly had a 3rd party screen, both were returned, never again.
    free returns

Got one delivered yesterday. Battery at 83% and crack on screen in centre. No way “good” condition as advertised. Sent straight back
And the music magpie deals keep getting hot shambles of a company nowadays
