Credit check on iPhone? Leave your credit check for mortgage.

Yes great advice here! We are only allowed one credit check in our lives
Not an apple fan but this finally looks decently priced if can't afford to buy outright
LCD in 2019 just goes beyond me though...
£20 deposit seems fine, but I think the 128 for £2 a month more makes more sense.

Cheap way to own the phone outright with a decent sim only deal.

I thought it was a good price and the 0% is very attractive, especially as I don’t like to be tied to a contract.
Don’t you need to a put £20 one off fee for Barclays finance?
Yes just read that also

To be fair probably not with 0% finance over 24 months?!

No it’s an initial £20 payment when you place the order, the balance is then spread over 24 months. Just ordered it and took out the 0% and it’s definitely just an initial deposit.

The credit check is for the finance, just the same as when you take out any 0% agreement or contract with a mobile provider.

Yes agreed but I listed the cheapest option, you can also buy the iPhone 11 pro but it’s a fair bit more.

They were at very with a bnpl code which took £100 off and got to pay within one year
Surely this is still a contract, but just for the phone.....
TV+ included for free for one year too

It’s not a mobile phone contract, but yeh it’s a contract with Barclays.
It’s a finance contract for 24 months interest free.
The 11 Pro 256GB is £49.99 per month if anyone was considering it
What happened to the XS, why can’t you buy that?

Yep. On this site but they were grey imports. Whereas this will be a UK model.

good find , was waiting for the 0 % finance to come and there it is .

Tv+ is terrible though, absolutely no content worth watching just half a dozen series available. Hopefully it’ll improve

They’ve been offering this interest free deal for ages in the stores. I bought the XR like this from an Apple store when it first came out, and knew that Apple had been offering this for quite a while previously

A xiaomi reshmi or an apple
I bought a cheap runaround car for less than that. Honda, so made in the sane neck of the woods... 😏

What they were offering before was ‘iPhone Payments’ which worked similarly but involved a slightly larger initial payment and was over 20 months rather than 24.

I always wondered why they didn’t just do it this way in the beginning as 24 is how people tend to see phones (like with contracts) anyway.
