Battery % claims ? The first thing I look for not listed ?

    What are the different grades?

    Good
In good condition, these refurbished phones have been loved and used more visibly. These devices are likely to have light but visible scratches on both body and screen. All our phones have a minimum 80% battery health.

    Excellent
In excellent condition, these refurbished phones show little signs of previous use. If there are some micro-surface scratches on the back or screen, these won't be visible beyond 30cm. All our phones have a minimum 80% battery health.

    Premium
Our flagship refurbished phones look and feel like new, there's not a screen or body scratch in sight. All our phones have a minimum 80% battery health.

    Are these guys reliable?

I did not have a good experience with these lot when i sent a phone for recycling.

They offered me a much lower price (£80 less) for my phone, stating the battery usage has to be 80% +

    My phone was 83%

Then when i declined they tried upping the offer by a few quid.

    Very amateurish

That third party box looks nice

At least it's better than the usual brown box that everyone uses

Nothing will beat the brand new green 13 pro max a few of us got from giffgaff and I’m enjoying typing on it now

Over 600 quid for a second hand phone?
    I think not.

Get with the times mate. The comment is so 2000!

Great deal. £470 for the iPhone 13 (not pro) seems a great price too
  10. god's avatar
For some reason I fancy changing to the dark side, would get less than 500 for my pixel 7 pro though
    bassi3's avatar
I came over to the dark side after over 10 years just because of this specific model and it is a beast, love it.

Great! That means my 256gb iphone 14 pro will be worth at least £800 in October
    James.Howlett's avatar
That's a good investment, so you're saying the best thing your iPhone is good for is selling, sell it and get a decent Android phone and go on holiday with the money left over.

GOOD condition no thanks my good looked like had been run over by a bus. Went straight back

I just got an immaculate 13 Pro Max 1Tb for £830 delivered today off eBay. It has 97% battery and is in warranty until Oct.

If you're not in a rush, I'd wait for the right deal elsewhere.

I’m actively forcing myself not to upgrade hurry up April then lock myself into 12months sim only and keep my 12 for another year
    DealHunterz's avatar
    Same... Must...resist...urge...to upgrade the 12

Giffgaff refurb deal was better for me. iPhone 14 pro 256gb 100% battery pristine condition and it was rated as GOOD for £812

    Screens to small tho

Yeah hate to say it but not enjoying my pixel 6a so thinking of jumping back to iPhone after a while on android. Been keeping eye out on 13 pro max but I think this time last year got a 12 pro 256gb for about 475 for other half so still think there's potential way to go with prices.
    Lellow's avatar
What don't you like about the 6a?.

    For me:

    + Nice size
    + Fast
+/- Camera decent enough but nothing special. Not much of an upgrade over my Pixel 2 XL and I feel that had better macro capabilities.
+ Surprisingly decent audio although not very loud.

    - Very slippy
    - Dust magnet
    - Worst smartphone keyboard i've ever used. Dunno what it is, too sensitive or what, but mistakes galore.
    - Under screen fingerprint reader is bad. At least 50% of the time I end up having to type my password.
    - The raised camera strip looks flimsy and potentially easy to scratch

These tests are carried out by pushing the phones to their limits do you really think the average user is going to notice the difference of 547 and 1475 points in real world usage ?
The big difference is where the Samsung S22 Ultra has more functionality and costs less than half the price!
    JasSingh93's avatar
Could argue all day about this. I just showed you scores as evidence the Samsung doesn’t wipe the floor with the iPhone, as your previous statement said it does.

Anything beyond that is user preference. Functionality is based on usage and needs, some are gimmicky, some are useful. Each phone has benefit and disadvantages. You cannot objectively say that one is better for everyone, and therefore, of better value. (edited)

I only provided the facts because you yourself had asked me
    "Such as?"
If you're happy with your device that's great, let others discuss the the finer points of other aspects of the device which may be of more importance to them.
    JasSingh93's avatar
I agree. I just provided evidence that the devices you linked didn’t wipe the floor with the iPhone for less money. As your statement said did. (edited)
