Cheapest around.

Good if you're after the 5c. Be better still if it was for the 5S...I might then have to open my wallets:)

Id go for a 5C personally, the 5S improvements aren't necessary unless you're a hardcore iPhone gamer or photographer
this is a really good deal

This is the best price i've seen, just rang 3 to give my 30 days notice, and they are saying don't buy from third parties??Has anyone had any problems buying through third parties?? ;-/ Confused

They only say that so you buy direct from them, as they sell the contracts to third parties cheaper than what u pay

£45 Quidco aswell. :)http://www.quidco.com/mobileshop-com/

Cashback will not be paid on the T-Mobile £26 per month on the iPhone 5c in all colours.

I stand correct!

It is hidden away in T&C's

Not too bad. However last Nov, via Carphone Warehouse, I got the same phone (£49.99 cost) with unlimited mins, texts and 1gb data for £27.

Personally think it should be cheaper. .. But hey this is Apple

I personally don't think 1GB a month is enough.

Better to buy an unlocked iPhone 5c and move to giffgaff. Unlimited texts and unlimited internet for £12 per month. Much better value.

A good deal. If anyone want more minutes and data I just picked up an IPhone 5c from DirectMobiles.co.uk on T-Mobile with the following deal:
500 minutes per month.
Unlimited Texts.
Unlimited Internet.
Handset Cost: £45.
Monthly Contract: £27 per month.
Cost over 24 month contract: £693.
-£35.35 Cashback from TopCashBack (which tracked within 24 hours)
Total Cost over 24 month contract: £657.65.

It appears that DirectMobiles.co.uk has been banned from this site so I could not add this as a separate deal but I had no problems with my order so I assume they are legit

Sheesh .. Very expensive init

Just out of interest, personal preference aside, why would someone choose an Apple handset over say a high end Android device?

Never owned an Apple handset, it's always been Android but quite tempted to take one on..

Cold ... not an iphone.......... oh erm wait a minute

Exactly... the Nexus 5 is £300 brand new, off contract, with far superior hardware specs. I figured the iPhone craze would have died out by now.

A mixture of devices in our household, but the reason I prefer Apple is the quality of the apps. There are far more quality apps on IOS. Obviously this will not be the case for ever, but at the moment they are not even close.

After a new phone for my girlfriends B Day…she has an iPhone 3gs atm and doesn't play games on the phone as she also has an iPad 4th gen for that.

Might have a look into this as it seems like a good deal but i also like the looks of the nexus 5.

What do you mean? I'm an app developer and that's definitely not the case.

People buy iPhones because Apple make phones that people want to buy.

N5 is also far too big (and ugly). Not everyone wants a high powered big phone.

That's a fair point.

What I'm trying to understand is if it's just a case of the Joneses or whether the hardware/software apps are that much better than the Android/Windows equivalent. Someone on another forum said it's very much a Windows/Linux situation of some sorts, not 100% sure what that means..

Im inbetween minds whether to get this deal or the £24 a month deal on phones direct for the S4 what, would be better the 5C or the S4 but none of the fan boy comments just pure facts if possible. Thx.

I purchased this deal for my son just before Xmas. No issues with the company, everything went through smoothly and I have just had TCB confirmed for £42 today so very happy.

Nutterz32 - My household is full of Apple products (ipads, ipods, iphones) but I got a Samsung S4 on the O2 refresh glitch as while back and to be honest I would not swap it for an Iphone. I love it, the screen is nice and big, crystal clear. Millions of apps you will never need lol. I love it and it is the best handset I have ever owned!

Hope this helps.

To be honest it mostly comes down to personal preference. Phones like the HTC One feel really nice in the hand & have build quality similar to that of an Apple device.

Personally I opt for an iPhone as I don't want the malware hassle & lack of updates that one gets with android.

I'd much rather (personally) play a little extra and get the far superior Lumia 1020 than this! Another average spec product released by Apple that people end up buying purely down to their sheer brilliance at marketing.

Has anyone had any problems with this or the site?

Hard to avoid the my phone is better than yours debate but let's face it. Both android and iOS are good systems. I use other apple products and love the way they sync seemlessly - take a photo on my phone and it automatically appears on the iPad and iMac for example. What tips the balance for me is the ease of use of the operating system. The quality and breadth of the App Store is pretty phenomenal. The hardware and software is designed by the same company so despite what specs might say, it is greater than the sum of its parts. Most importantly for me is continued software support. Some android handsets have to wait for ages for updates if they ever come at all. HTC dropped official support for one of their handsets after just 7 months! Also you can balance out the cost with the knowledge you can sell it on to a high demand market for a decent price when you have finished.

Just like to say these are just my opinions, feel free you tell us yours!

??? You clearly know nothing about app developing for either platform.

You've been able to do that with Android long before Apple 'invented' it! I've been doing it using Ubuntu One cloud storage since 2011, and you can use other options such as Dropbox.

Rodman,

I think there is an element of sarcasm to Rodman's reply.

Three customer retention are terrible. I was put on hold once for 20 minutes as they were trying to shake off my PAC code request at the end of my contract. I'd only go back to them if their prices were very good!

If you play facebook scrabble every day, the ios app is best, no adverts. Probably better on the ipad but I can't be picky on my low income!

I have a Samsung s3 but do find it to be a bit too big, and it seems that the high spec android phones are just getting bigger and bigger, so in that aspect the iphone does appeal to me. However I really dislike how restrictive apple is with the fact that you have to use itunes for adding music etc....just my thoughts.

awoo

android phones are just getting bigger

Try a Sony z1 compact - top of range but w/ 4.3" screen.

Still not small enough. I spent a few hours trying out phones yesterday, I've sold my nexus 4 after a year because it is a brick. IPhone 5s on order as no one else seems capable of making a top of the range phone that is slim (width wise). I didn't want to and the idea yesterday was to get the HTC one mini bit that's too big still. Joke!

Sounds like a winner. Nice too that you don't need a case with the plastic back too - my iPh 5 is nice enough but I'm not a fan of the scratch-prone, scrape-prone painted aluminium.
