Thought this was a good price for a refurb handset, refurb/good £79.99 and refurb/as new £94.99 and especially as unlocked on both.

both black and white variants aval at time of posting but usually go quick.

Not an iPhone user myself but hope it helps!

good find
looks ok not for me but excellent price so hot.
It is a really cheap phone deal , but only problem is {I have an Iphone 5s for work],Apple really are slowing down the processors in the 5 series to save battery or so they say, no updates or very few for it either ,my phone is so slow now I am going to upgrade to a 6 or 7
i'm after a phone with a decent camera under £100. is this worth it or shall i wait to see what the motorola g5 price does?

....or are there other out there???

Interesting, might be just the "S" phones that happens to. Has a 4S and it happened to that, but the standard 5 I'm using at the moment is running plenty fast enough.

The 5S is not affected by the software update that slows phones down if the battery has degraded. It only applies to iPhone 6 onwards.
My phone is a lot slower than when I got it , and when was the last update for them?My phone is running IOS 10.33 and no updates are available maybe that is why it is slower

Iphones under 6s with 2gb of ram are not worth to buy at this moment.

Can a 5 year old phone really be “as new” I would have thought it is extremely unlikely! Better to buy an SE at least that will be a maximum 2 years old
I have the galaxy S7 and am just coming to the end of contract. £45 a month is galling me. I've bought a 12 month £15 sim only contract with the same company and same data 12GB but with all you can eat minutes. I'm happy with my 3 signal so want to stay. But am tempted to change phones for a change of scenery. Have never had an iPhone though I find iPad and Macs very reliable. Is it worth trying to pick up an iPhone of any description, and are there ones to absolutely avoid? My S7 has been pretty rock solid and is pristine under screen protector and case. Should I stick with what works?

This is exactly the reason they started to slow the older generation phones down so people would upgrade but they got caught and fined apparently
Sorry for my question. Just looked on the forum and found hotukdeals.com/dis…575
As you were!
Anyone know what good condition is actually like in person?

No chance. I sold my 6 for £140.
People don’t understand that the main reason for buying an iPhone is the iOS.

Given the latest iOS 11 software update with the battery drain problems, with still no further fixes/patches, the 5s is probably better off not having it.
Its like an ipod touch with calling with no updates. Price should be similar to that gen ipod touch.

Oops, clicked hot, rather than cold. This phone most likely has 6 months of updates left from Apple.
To be honest, i would not recommend this. Get an iPhone se for another £10 as it’s 3 years newer model and has a lot lot more going for it (speed, iOS updates, bla de bla)

Also the iPhone SE. Which is a great little phone

But that means there is no further patching or security updates for the phone, in this day and age it would be the equivalent of using a windows xp machine today.
Mrs rumble got a 5s for £64.99 from Music Magpie a few weeks ago (locked to O2/giffgaff).

Almost perfect condition and goes like a train.
The main reason people go with iPhone is the legendary customer service, and how the hardware and software is designed to work together.

They messed up with 11 though, save 11.3 which fixed my lag issues. 12 should be working on the bugs rather than a whole new system update

If I fancied a change of scenery, (and not too much £,) I'd go for the 6s plus as its a decent sized screen, double the RAM of the 6, and is the last iphone to have the 3.5mm jack. I'm sure other iphone owners are in a better position to advise though.

£5 quidco too.

Thank you for posting this deal. My son wants a SE or better for his birthday. He has to get a Scoliosis operation and will be in hospital for a while. It a bit more complicated because he has a rare syndrome has anyone seen a SE for a good price. Any help would be appreciated because I’m just too stressed up to look for deals. Heat from me for the deal.xxxx
Good price for the best of the old shape iPhones. Heat added.
You can buy a brand new Xiaomi Redmi 4x / Note 4x etc for £90 or so. Much better phones and not five years old.

I’d give the 6 a miss. iOS stopped playing nice on 1gb of RAM some time ago. The 6s and SE are the two cheapest 2gb models.
Used iPhone SE would be a good deal at this price,5S..not so much.

It can vary drastically its a lucky dip. I've had phones before where the screen was immaculate and the phone only had light marks on 2 of the corners and then I got another which was "good" condition and I sent it back because it was covered in scratches
