This a good deal surely at £17.99 per month?
Wasnt aware that iphone 6 comes in 32gb as well? I know 6s does.

Yes all very strange! The iPhone 6S was upgraded from 16 to 32Gb last September - but the iPhone 6 was not on sale then and never was on sale in the UK in this size.
Apple have just upgraded the iPhone 6 to 32Gb in the last week so this is really new

But the iPhone 6 (as opposed to the 6S ) isn't on general sale - and hasn't been for months! - outside of this offer. Apple have never previously resurrected a deceased model before.

iPhone 6? Ancient to today's tech standards. Sorry but gotta be a cold vote.

I think it's only available on contract but they've definitely resurrected it.
Here's the story I read on it Here

It's £17.99 per month for that reason

Nokia 6 etc are imminent, that's the same end of the market, might explain it.

Ive voted hot BUT I would rather buy a boxed/ sealed one off someone and get a sim only deal - I bet you could get a sealed 6 for closer to 300 than the 475 this is?

I'd say you would be hard pressed to get a new iPhone 6, with 32gb, and 24 months of sim only service for less than this deal.
Of course 1gb of data doesn't suit everyone, but that's not the point.

Yes - while it's perhaps half the CPU power of a iPhone 7 it is by no means "ancient". iPhones have a supported lifetime of ~5 years from "last retail sale " - so that would be to ~2020 at least. They will still run iPlayer and almost all games just fine!
Using my iPhone 5s for over 2 years. It's perfectly fine speed wise. Though very small screen

You're wrong - here's one I found within minutes on eBay for £330 delivered - add an id mobile sim at £5 pm (calls/ txts/ 1.5gb data) = £450 - Massive £25 saving ... oO ebay.co.uk/itm…485?hash=item4b186f584d:g:ISUAAOSww5hZKc7k

Jokes aside, as mentioned I voted hot. Think this is first time I have seen a 6 for under £20 pm. Great find OP.

I doubt that , even if it is supported. I have old iPhone 5s ,even it is still getting updates ,it struggle s to do anything except make phone calls . Apple software is very good but their hardware becomes dated very fast .

That's never been my experience with Apple hardware. My last iPad was over 3 years old when I sold it and I had noticed no slowing down.
Similarly I have never seen any older iPhone short of CPU...other features like larger screen and Apple Pay but (unlike Android) not raw speed.

The handset in this offer compares pretty well with current models....and 32Gb is FAR more useful than the 16 it used to have. For the price it's pretty unbeatable!

(_;) I wonder what led them to believe there was a market for a 32gb model now?

We have a 16 in the household - it was our son's and when that 24month was up we got him the 7 and so now my wife has the 6 - it has never given either of them issue. I am only curious - why would Apple update a phone that is a few years old? Why bother!?

There are links in messages above. It was designed for Asian markets and is now in the UK and other places - but ONLY on contract. You cannot buy it from Apple!

Obviously it enables the dealers to offer unusually cheap iPhone deals...like this one!

I'd rather be with EE for the sake of £25, and isn't the phone you linked to locked to EE?

Yes, I missed this as well (as it was launched in emerging markets before) but seems they bought it over here very recently (so I didn't kick myself so much for missing it). I mentioned before though, I would probably take the SE over this as the A8 is getting old now (still good for now but how long).

Think all these 32gb are EE - think only EE in UK are 'selling' them. Forgive me if it wasn't clear enough for you ... my suggested £25 saving was tongue in cheek, kind of proved myself wrong. I am sim only anyway though and so would look to buy outright still..
Here's the newer 32GB 6s for £390 - ebay.co.uk/itm…803?hash=item3d3c895753:g:eFkAAOSwuMZZLFmS - leaves you £85 to put toward a better sim only deal. Bet you could find even better if you go local via gumtree ... yes someone local to me selling new sealed 32gb 7 for £400 on gumtree
