I've been looking for an iphone 128gb around this price mark and came across this deal

So....£850 for a phone. Has anyone heard of the Emperor's New Clothes tale?!

I got this deal myself, also used a code ELF10 for £10 off (not sure if it would still work) and don't forget quidco.

Looks a good deal

2gb data, yea right. You go over that and it'll cost you loads.

I thought the point of being here is to discuss good deals and encourage others to post more. With this attitude, no wonder not a lot of mobile deals get posted.

It's not £850 for just the phone? But if you want the latest iPhone that's what you have to pay.

What 'attitude' is that then?

It's not a bad deal and 2gb is ok for a lot of ppl. If you don't use all the 2g it will rollover to the next month too. Previous deals have been around £823 I think.

Good deal, if it was at least 3gb data it would have been brilliant.

Voting everything cold. Vodafone = Cold. iPhone = Cold. A fixed price is a bit too expensive = Cold.

I don't agree with that analysis.
Don't forget it takes a lot of members to make something this cold, my vote alone only counts as 4 cold and 5 hot and I've been a member quite a while.
People vote for many reasons and tbh Vodafone are **** and iphone's are very expensive for what they are.

Can you find the same deal cheaper? It's not hot or cold depending on someone's personal opinion. It's whether it's a good deal for someone looking for an iphone on Vodafone. As iphone contracts go it's not too bad compared to some I've see. And 2GB is more than enough for someone who doesn't stream away from home wifi. No one will post iphone deals at this rate as every Apple hater comes along and votes it cold. You're right - this attitude will deter others.

hey anyone found a better deal? let me know. even if theres a sim free deal thats cheaper..
thanks

This seems an ok deal to me. 'iPhones are expensive for what they are' is a pointlessly subjective statement that in no way relates to how hot an iPhone deal is - if that were the case then all iPhone deals would be cold no matter what, just because a lot of people don't personally like them (for whatever reason). I don't personally like designer handbags but I wouldn't vote a deal on one cold just because I don't like them.

Unfortunately mobile phones seem to encourage tribalism, and I've no idea why. At the end of the day they're just a means to doing certain things where some people prefer using one over the other. I swear that some people would love to see everyone forced to buy Android phones just because they're (usually) cheaper and have more meaningless specs on paper.

So find one cheaper, this is hot deals UK, not Idontlikeappleonlypostandroiddeals.com
