A the apple haters/debate - how about if you can find cheaper just out that and NOTHING else ?

apple.com/uk/…ram look at the option for just the phone, on a 20 month interest free contract comes to 599 (27.50/mon) + a sim only deal around £10 a month from the post on this site, maybe £20 if you want a lot of data. So with a similar data sim deal for 24 months comes to around £240. £599 + £240 = £839 all in @ £37.50 for 20 months and 4 months at say £10 and a £49 upfront.

Good find. Try to find/book the phone of your choice - Mostly out of stock for black or Silver 32GB models (Gold and Rose gold are available though). CPW or Mobiles.co.uk cannot exist if Apple/Samsung started selling direct.

Don't you hand the phone back to Apple after the lease?

Don't you hand the phone back to Apple after the lease?

No, you don't, assuming you don't want to upgrade:

What happens if I don’t want to upgrade my iPhone after 11 monthly payments?

You’re under no obligation to upgrade, and after 20 payments, the phone is yours.

I can't imagine ever paying that for a phone. I paid £25 for my phone, £10 a month pay as you go gives me 200mins which i never even use 20mins, unlimited text which i've never used as everyone uses whatsapp or kik, 500mb data which I don't even use as most places have wifi and as i work from home, i dont even add the £10 a month, just use the wifi
As someone who has done traveling, i cant imagine even considering an iphone, simply if you were to take loads of photos and videos and then end up in an area with no wifi, no internet and you run out of space but have nothing left to delete, no other cameras and the most amazing site right in front of you, kinda pointless then. SD slots have been in most other phones for 10+ years and yet Apple can't add that, rather force you to use their services. With Apple you pay for a name cuz you can always find a cheaper, better phone. Might have the latest, fastest chip in now but month later someone else will bring out better but cheaper.

Cool story Bro. Be happy with your £25 phone and loner level calls per month. Most people want a fast reliable smartphone and would be happy to spend £200+ to get a phone they will use so regularly on a daily basis. I wouldn't personally go back to an iPhone so I'm not defending that brand but a smartphone in general is for most people a important investment.

I feel sorry for anyone you shared you thousands of photos with from your travelling with your £25 phone, considering a Nokia 108 for £19.99 has only a 0.3 megapixel camera. You can fit a lot of those photos on the 32gb expandable memory it comes with though, so well done!

So, to clarify, the advantage of this is that if you want to upgrade your phone after 11 months you will be able to, whereas through CPW etc you can't until your contract is over?

If buying to use on PAYG, there is no point doing this route right?

Anyone who drops a grand on a phone with a 4.7 inch screen is a bit mental.

Actually, anyone who drops a grand on any phone period needs their head checked.

And almost that on the s7 edge that it will replace.
Does is matter what people spend on a phone? Their money, their choice.
