Always think of battery health when buying a used iPhone. Music Magpie say theirs will be at least 80%, but that information isn't easy to find (enjoy the hunt!). Phones for sale don't have battery health stated. Bought a couple of iPhones from them in the past which had of course evaded the Apple battery replacement programme and their health was of course... 80%! Needless to say, they cannot last a day at work. I'd suggest avoid buying used iPhone... You're better off buying an older model of iPhone new, sealed and unused, or at least Remanufactured (as opposed to refurbished, which often means bought sorted by cosmetic condition and thrown in a box).
A battery replacement costs £49 so it may still be worth it for many of the combined cost is saving a good amount

the plus has strong battery life anyway so it might be sufficient for some without a new battery

Foolish to buy any mobile on release, Apple or Android they all plummet within a few months.

Very done a deal of £200 off an iPhone 11 Pro not long after I bought it on release.

A good condition used product that will have signs of use including scratches and scuffs to the screen, back and sides. The product is fully functional and in working order.
Out of stock already?

1k for a note 9 I don't think so only £869 for a note 10
I have a refurbished Iphone6 plus it’s coming to 3 years since I purchased it and battery life is still showing 91%. Dropping it and cracking screen hasn’t been ideal. However the phone in first few years has been great especially for photographs. However this past year the battery doesn’t seem to last most of the day if I am constantly using it.

Do I go for the 8 which has a superior camera n better processor or wait for the Pixel 3 to hit the magical £250 market.

Why?

Isn't it rumoured that that the SE2/iPhone 9 is using the same camera as the iPhone 11.

Indeed but IMO it's unlikely that apple will go out there way to make a camera worse than any phone they currently sell.

I think a worse case scenario will be that they use the iPhone 8's camera as they still manufacture it.

That sounds more likely as the camera allegedly isn’t that far in quality than the X n 11. The 8 camera I read was a evolution in camera performance by Apple so if you can pick up an excellent quality one for £240 I think it will be a bargain if you are predominately using your phone as a camera
Wow such a great price. heat added

Haha, I know how you feel. I got mine for around £600 on release from CPW and that's with trading in my S7. It's ridiculous that it's worth around £250 now after around 18 months. Stuck with it now, but battery still holds a good charge (lasts me around 2 days) and runs smoothly on Android 10.
Had the iPhone 8 Plus for over 2 years and still love it and don’t feel the need to upgrade as still pretty quick and smooth.

Hopefully hopefully, I don't get tempted by the devil to upgrade and just keep this phone....

My battery life is okaish so might just get that replaced
Nope, try the app or desktop site, there are still 12+ available

How much did you buy your note 9 for exactly ?

Contract on EE £50p/m. Phone was listed as £899.

Believe me, I looked around..
I bought brand new iPhone 6s in March 2016. Today battery life is 78%. Power bank was almost permanently with the phone. Yesterday I have upgraded for iPhone 11.

So buying a phone with 80% means that you buying 4 years old phone.

Luckily I just sold my 7 plus for £200 on eBay. Damn, the 8 plus has gone cheap.

I think the same way, i never bought phone for more than £256,and it was Mrrrswitch fault , his deal with 30pro just pushed me for this.. all my phones are 2..3 years old like samsung active 7, note edge, note 4,or Zebra tc56, bought them for 100-150.. and i dont mind i still can sell them for 60-100.but no way i will be stupid to pay 700-900 for item which in 2 years can be bought for £150. most of peoples dont agree with me,but do i need to think about it? No

Official Apple battery replacement is £49 support.apple.com/en-…wer

Probably unofficial repairers will do it for cheaper but I got Apple to replace a battery on a 2nd hand iPhone, they broke the NFC and had to give me a brand new phone!

From the prototype the SE2 looks stunning!! All screen and still a great one handed scroller. I loved the sleek like design of the original 5,5s and SE still wish they'd keep this build. Because not everyone likes a phablet
If anyone wants unlocked and doesn't have contract with Vodafone (like me) is only £10 extra so I think this is still good price considering unlock codes cost about that much on there.
Anyway how do you knock the price down from 279.99 to 212.79?
