Locked to o2 though presumably.

Actually these are Sim Free Phones not unlocked phones. There is a big difference

Unlocked phones will lock when Itunes updates, you then have to buy new unlocking software.

These phones are 100% SIM FREE which means they have never been locked and never will lock, regardless of how many times itunes updates, there is nothing unofficial about these phones, They have simply not been locked by APPLE like 99% of the phones floating around the UK at the moment.

This means these phones will work on ANY network. Unlike ones locked to Orange or O2 which only work on the network provided.

I know all this at great expense to myself having first bought an unlocked phone only to find it kept re-locking as I was using it on Vodafone. I have since bought a Sim Free one from Prepaymania and this never locks, FINALLY a phone I can use

...if you want a iphone locked to o2, but if you dont then this is a good deal !

not a 3gs, so cold

3g not worth £399 as it is old and slow, however I can see how a genuine factory unlocked iPhone may be of use to some

Would have been hot if it was 3Gs you can them on most networks now anyway cept voda who will have it early next year.Tmobile supply them sim free and no doubt orange and voda will follow 02s lead and offer an unlck service for you at some pont.

Worth mentioning that you can't unlock a Pay As You Go iPhone on O2 until you've had it for 12 months.

They'll unlock contract phones as soon as you buy them but not PAYG.

Has anyone used this company before? Been looking for a sim-free 3G for a gift my other other half and this seems to be the cheapest I've seen anywhere. :-s

I purchased one of these from prepay mania and it was faulty. I contacted apple who told me it was not purchased in the uk and I had to return it to hong kong for repair!!! So beware!

its free for contracts now on o2 but £15 on payg

still cheaper then anything else available if u want to do it legit

But you still need to have had your PAYG "contract" for 12 months before you can request the unlock.

You can only request unlocks immediately on pay monthly contracts and you still have to pay each month which means a minimum of £540 over 18 months.
