1.5 year old tech for that sort of money? 4" 640 x 1136 screen, 60.8% screen-to-body ratio, 1624 mAh battery. Is that even worth £100 today considering what sort of specs you can get for money. Even with half eaten fruit logo is it even worth more than £100?

You're both wrong. The chipset in this phone is the same as in an iPhone 6S.

It's most definitely worth more than £100 and it compares to a 6S not a 6 in speed as both handsets use the A9 SOC.

Please point me towards a brand new Android phone that is as quick as this, with a front camera as good as this, and 4K video as this has for £100-£150.

This is a good price for this phone. Got one myself and has lasted 18months so far with no problems

Not a bad price, it’s kind of what you would want to pay for this handset now. Great phone 12m warranty with Apple as standard, just older tech for a fair price heat from me.:D

You are an angel

Thanks!!

You can get the phone for equivalent of £14 pm (after cashback) over 2 years on EE with 1gb data per month, e2save

Always one and they never add anything new just the usual moan on an apple thread.

might be be the cheapest but it’s not long ago that o2 had them on the refresh abet with smaller memory for £120 came brand new not even activated. Offers come round all of the time if you aren’t in a hurry and want to do the o2 trick you can get a big savings.

This is a Very good deal (pun intended).
The SE is basically the 6S in a 5S shell. Which is great for people who like smaller phones.
It runs super slick (nearly on par with the iphone 7 on ios11)

If you can get it with £249 with the £30 voucher it's a bargain.

The EE deal is very good as well.

Sky Customers:
£13 per month at the moment with Unlmited Mins, Texts and 500MB Data. Or £17 a month for the 128GB version.

Well if people were all aware of spec Apple would not be what they are today. But any way this phone was being sold by O2 by just over £100 on refresh for like new. Even new ones were on hukd for less than cost in this deal. I don't have a time machine but for anyone not in hurry to buy this latest engineering marvel, this modern gadget can be had for a better price.

Well the proof is in the pudding and this deal is getting voted hot . So if you are looking to buy this phone New , it’s one of the best deals at the moment. Is it not ? Also you get the same build quality on this phone as a iPhone 8 but obviously not the same spec . Apple phones go on and on . Just purchased this for my dad after his 5s is finally on its last legs after nearly 4 years of use . Now you don’t get 4 years out of many phones .

As others have mentioned if you are considering an older iPhone, get a 7, 6S or this SE but avoid the 6 as it’s suffering terribly with the iOS 11 update.

I don't what it is with this shape of the iPhone 4/4s/5se etc, that in my opinion it is the perfect shape of what a mobile phone should look like.

Pure perfection.

Great comment. Comparing a new phone which is available now against a second hand phone where the deal isnt available anymore.

BTW the SE is a great phone. I bought mine last may. It is still going strong.

Got one of these as my work phone and it feels like going back to 2013 with the screen. Pushes the pixels around well enough and probably great for people with small hands though. No, "courage," here thankfully.

I agree, I've had this phone for almost a year now, bought it outright as had (and still have) an amazing sim only deal never found anywhere since lol) and it does everything I want it to, lasts 2 days on battery with moderate use and is perfect as I have quite small hands and quite a clumsy clot!! Also, It's fast, never hangs, never freezes, faultless phone!!

The O2 deal was a refresh deal, which not everyone wants the (perceived) hassle of dealing with, plus it was the 16gb, which is too small, IMO (and, as we know, there's no expandable storage).

One of the worst deals I have ever seen on here. This was succeeded by the 6, then the 6S, then 7, then 8 then X. So 5 generations old. Which shows how quickly apple products age. Wow only 1.5 years?

This is the newest model of the smaller screen so it is good for those of us (inlcuding myself) who don't want a huge phone

All of which translates into excellent battery life and the fastest compact smartphone even today despite having a chip from 2015, letting it keep up with today's iPhones and virtually every android flagship

Best small phone of all time.

Just a note that you can still get 64GB using O2 refresh for about £260 for 'like new'

You avoid Very (which most people including me try to) and you also get twice the space for less price

Can't add to basket ?? 😦

I've bought mine today so the site is working - for anyone worried, I personally have never had any issues with Very as a company..

I had been waiting for the price to drop, as I managed to use a £30 off code and got the phone for £249 I was happy to buy now as I need to replace my old iphone. I wonder if the price will be lower for this model around Black Friday

crap stick with android way less restricted

Why let facts get in the way of nonesense?

The chipset in this phone is objectively better than even the one in the best Android phone (s8)

it will be supported until 2020 at least, probably until 2022 because of the 64Bit architecture.

If you’ve got the time to mess about with android phones with their glitches, poor long term support and laginess do as you please. IMO android phones are good only for kids who might play games. Trusting them with serious information: banking etc is ridiculous. But at least get your facts right.

Why comment on something you don’t have a clue about.
This has the chipset and camera from the excellent 6s. This is 2 chipsets behind (the 7 and the 8/X)

An apple A9 is faster than any chip in any Android phone. It will handle well down the line and receive software support

The chipset in the 8 is faster than an Intel i7 Desktop CPU. They are so powerful because Apple actually make good products that aren’t chopped by QualCrap.

but instead go and buy some Chinese phone with malware baked in and. Qualcomm chipset that won’t have driver support the month after it launches. Do as you please but get your facts right first.
