Since your so rich why you scraping through deals site you should buy it from Apple
I suppose that's ok for people who can only afford second-hand, thanks
But the iphone 6 is an older, lower spec phone than this, so surely this is a better deal if it's the same price?

up there for daftest comment of the year, since the phones are near enough brand new and most come with up to 12 months Apple warranty its a massive saving enough to make them a better deal.
16GB are currently out of stock but come in all of the time they don't have a 32 but the 64 less than this. iphone 7 are £270+ as well, check the feedback on the hot thread. Check out other Argos phone threads sure I remember then locking to first sim but could be wrong, it's all in the definition of sim free.

don't people have probs with contract cancelling etc with O2 refresh ?
...and how easy is unlock ?

No problems and easy unlock.
I've seen the many great deals o2 refresh offer, but personally have never gone for them because there are a few who end up having to see the contract through.

I just don't see it as a deal when there is a cheaper price for the same phone. Especially when there is a £100-£200 saving depending on what GB you want

I said that I'm still the best looker she's ever going to get, but the new phone will sort the battery issue out.
From the description: "The sim is unlocked throughout the lifetime of the phone without restriction". In the questions & answers - argos support also confirm that the phone remains unlocked & doesn't lock to first sim.

Typical mindset of Apple fanboy. They think because they throw away several hundred pounds on a bit of mid-range tech only worth half that, it makes them better than everyone else. Sorry, money can't buy you class X)
Only those who can't read or comprehend a contract.

You don't really believe that this is only worth half it's cost do you? It's a quality, very fast mid range phone
It's easy to unlock but cancelling the contract is a pain. I've had 3 and after cancelling they've took out the full contract payment along with phone plan. It takes ages to refund so had to get bank involved for instant refund.
Things to consider before purchasing:
- It still has 6S generation internals despite getting a storage bump recently. It'll be fine for at least a few years for sure, just bear in mind it's technology that came out in September 2015. This is still a pretty decent price when you think about the per-year cost of a device bought full price on day of release.
- If you like taking selfies, the front facing camera is a bit oldschool. I can't stand my own face, so no problems there
- Possibility of an SE2 in September... this is seeming more and more likely to me with all the SE deals flying around lately. But of course you'd be probably looking at about £400+.
There is an option to remove a £10 top up, it's not mandatory.
Was just about to purchase iPod touch 32gb for 8 year old. Is this a better option (although she won't be making phone calls)??
exactly my point with o2 refresh.
The one plus (apart from being able to make calls), is that it does sound significantly better.
So, yeah, not much help there.
That second hand for your information usually still has apple warranty for up to 12 months in place as well as only 1-2 charge cycles on the battery.
Actually that is good to know... I thought screen was the same on both. Sounds like iPod might be one to go for (if not requiring telephone function)
Ment to be a absolute stress nightmare 02 refresh though aren't they? Heard loads of things about them damaging peoples credit files due to not having a straight forward process about cancelling airtime. Rather pay this price than risk refresh
Stop the updates and 5c will make it through the rain
How?
I saw people saying if they already had giffgaff they could, but for those who don't have anything active with them? I couldn't find a way.
