Ah but it doesn't, there are perfect ones if they haven't been activated you can use the 3 trick and get it unlocked to use on any network. Also you only add the credit to pay as you go if you haven't got a o2 sim or want it unlocked.

About iPhone SE:
Warranty is till June 2017, 10GB available space, iOS 9.3.2, you have to activate it with O2 sim no another sim are accepted.

So it is going back cos I need unlocked iPhone.

I would have thought it meant you put any O2, Tesco or Giffgaff sim in it otherwise it would need unlocking.

I paid £249 delivered, O2 sim with 0 credit works fine but when I put EE sim its says NO signal.

As a Pay As You Go customer, your O2 device can be unlocked 12 months after you buy it.
Fee

There's a one-off fee of £15 to unlock your device. At the moment you don't have enough credit to cover the fee.

Before you can unlock your device, you'll need to top up online, or call 4444 free from your O2 mobile.

This policy might vary depending on your device.
