UPDATED THREAD: hotukdeals.com/dea…254

Very good price for this phone.

This is an o2 refresh deal, where you order the contract and then cancel the airtime. Also can be unlocked from o2 for free. Please have a look at previous o2 refresh deal threads for more information.

All colours available at time of posting .

There are several tariffs which give this price.

I chose the 500mb deal with Unlimited Minutes etc:

29.99+24*5=149.99

Lets have some heat!

UPDATE CREDS TO OTHER USERS: buy the almost perfect model for £4 more!

"Perfectly Fine phones have been a bit more loved, but are still working well. They might have superficial scratches on the back, sides and screen but there will be no more than five deep scratches or chips up to 2mm in length. And you'll get a 12 month warranty to put your mind at ease."

Excellent price for the phone but shame its a 16gig. Voting hot
Good spot, but you only get six months warranty with these.

I would advise getting the "almost perfect" rather than "perfectly fine". Extra £4 but it buys you an extra six months warranty (12 months instead of six).

They all come with 12 mths, according to the o2 page linked above.

Can you explain what you mean by order the contract then cancel the airtime?

    wow.. great price, heat..
Can someone just post a quick idiots guide please. Had a look on another thread, seems easy enough. Just want to clarify which deal I need to select to get the almost perfect one
I have always had Apple but went for Samsung S6 Edge for a change. Can't get on with it, hate android! I have a contract with 3. Could I sell my S6 Edge to CEX for £152, take out the deal above, pay device off, cancel 02 airtime and then use my 3 sim in it if I get the SE unlocked?

You mean you hate Samsung's particular version of Android.
Only thing to bear in mind is taking out refresh does affect your credit score. I lost a few points as I did the same about 8 months ago for cheap iPhone 6. So a no go, if you are on the verge of taking out a mortgage. Heat added anyway

What's the chances you're unable to cancel airtime and be left with an expensive contract?

Got to love the young ones people always moan about the size of the memory, but if you manage it right then 16gb can be enough for most people unless you are stuck to your phone all day long and need every single app there is out there, put loads of music, photos and videos on it. Maybe it's a generation thing but don't think it is as my two can manage with the smaller sizes though, even though they can't believe I never had a landline phone in the house in the 80s

It's the price for the phone O2 price it separately, you pay for the phone and the airtime separate, click on the total amount on the basket at the bottom of the page. You can pay off the phone as soon as you get it, unlock it first and then cancel the airtime. Then have a phone for £150.

Wonder if there is a way of finding that out. Hmm wonder
Ok so you get the phone then pay it off in full (by calling O2?) then call again and cancel the airtime contract, is this correct?

    I'm very tempted
