Seems a very good deal.
Ordering from eglobal tends to be of hit and miss, but fingers cross...
If buying, use a credit card or paypal

You might have done - but the person who told you has escaped from an institute, and is considered a danger to the public.
They had it for sale for £778 early February. That deal went a freezing -280’
Voted cold due to retailer

What would customs charges likely to be on this
This much for a mobile phone, some people just believe the hype, a phone for a quarter of the price does the same thing and the differences are so insignificant they aren't worth the extra £'s
This or a runaround car ....can't make my mind up ! 🤔

Go for the car mate
This phone has sold way less than Apple forecast. Prices may have to tumble....even rabid Apple fanbois may have reluctantly come to the conclusion that this rip off is simply a rip off too far. But the camera is the best, i hear some say. Is it better than a 150 quid budget special from China's apple, though?

Every time this deal is posted I keep having to remind the OP that it’s plus VAT. PLUS VAT!!

Yes, you‘ll probably get away with not paying it if customs don’t check the box, but if they do then expect to pay the full price of £984 plus a £10 customs admin charge

The one in the link is a different company... Similar name though.

Eglobal do the customs clearance in advance so no import fees... It's written in their terms and conditions too.

No way I'd buy such an expensive item from a Chinese company, though.
