What do you expect? It was 399 not 999

I expect it to "show no signs of use" as that is what the listing states, regardless of cost.
Be careful, here is the pristine phone they sent me today

How annoying , if you send them a good phone they love to mark it down for anything

Yet they sell pristine when it’s grade b , how ironic
MrSwitch27/06/2019 20:12

No, try the app.

Actually just bought unlocked for £440! We’ll see what condition it’s in but got a bit of hope!
For some reason Amex payment didn’t wanna go through so went with PayPal.
Thank you Mr. Switch!

That sucks. Luckily they're usually pretty good with returns.

Send it back. I'm sure you'll get your money back.

Yes I will, but then I can't re-buy because 1) the 20% code has expired and 2) it's oos.

I could buy a "very good" but then fear i'd be sent a "good".

Really they should refund me the £32 difference in cost between the two levels but that does not seem to be an option.

Why would you do that when you can get a new S10 on 3 for £34pm?

Anyway, I use both iOS and Android but it annoys me when people compared an Android device to an iOS device and don't get why people might want the iOS one or vice versa...

You get 100GB with the S10 on £34pm, that's enough for 99.99% of mortals.

Are people not allowed to compare phones regardless of what they run?

Compare what you like. But if someone wants an iOS device how is comparing it to an Android one helping? If you are thirsty and ask for a bottle of water and I present you with a sandwich is that helpful?

If I'm thirsty and there is a deal for coke but someone suggests Pepsi I would probably consider the merits of both.

If someone is looking at an iphone and someone else suggests a packet of skittles then it has probably gone too far.

A Coke and Pepsi analogy is like comparing a OnePlus to a Samsung - both drinks, both Android phones. iOS is a different beast to Android - you and I both know it.

Yeh sure it is.

The same comparisons happen in Intel and AMD deals, AMD and Nvidia deals, dell and lenovo deals etc. They are all fair comparisons and nobody seems to feel precious about them.

A laptop, phone or tablet can be fairly compared to any other laptop, phone or tablet regardless of manufacturer.

Meh I dont care about comparisons. I like specific things on my phone that are impossible to compare.

It is pot luck you can use the code twice though.

Sent back two phones to them that were very good in this and the last offer, both came in amazing condition one was a 7 just wasn’t happy with the home button probably fine but wasn’t going to take the chance. The other was an 8 it looked brand new but was an international model no idea if that made a difference but it went back.

Both though condition wise should have been pristine.

Thanks I bought one and wasn’t too sure how to return it without costing me a tenner.

Not too sure what eBay answer a question is

You mean to music magpie or eBay customer service

Appreciate the response.

its all automated, done through ebay but music magpie pay for the return, its similar to opening a case but part of music magpies business model. The questions are related to why you want to return it, just put something like not as described. You then get the label to print off and just post it back. Takes 2 to 4 days to get the money back once they get it back. Bought 4 phones from them sent two back, second one is on iits way back, first one was simple to do, just like sending something back to say Amazon or any other retailer.
