This is a very good deal for the XS!!
Good deal if it wasn’t for the fact it’s on the worst network for me. EE literally no reception in my house or parents.
And we live in one of the biggest cities in uk.

Perhaps EE need to work on 4g before the try selling us the wonder that is 5g.
Still voted hot though.

whole things is simialr but in my case its Three.
Do EE carry out a hard credit search ?
XS still cost £599 from UK retails
I got the £36 iPhone 11 deal and was comparing the camera against an XS yesterday. The 11 is better; it gave a clearer shot, better resolution. I think the XS might have better stability for videos, but I’m not sure and didn’t test it.

Food for thought for anyone debating it. XS has better screen and smaller bezels, but the 11 has a newer/faster processor and better battery life.

Think you ll find there the best network for 4G with the most amount of Spectrum, it varies for area to area, I’m on EE as all the other networks are terriable
Do you think you could get an additional student /nhs discount on top of this??
Most annoying thing this new customer deal and cannot upgrade your contract to this without losing your mobile number

wife due upgrade went to get iPhone 11 256gb from sky at £41 a month car phone warehouse quoted £56-72 a month rang ee to cancel £41 2 year contract just ring up and leave
Is there any way I can upgrade a contract that I started a month ago on EE to this?
Brilliant deal thanks 🏻

£41 for a 256GB is a decent deal. If EE were matching Sky, why didn’t you stay with them?

My early upgrade was due and EE offered me £44 a month. So I took this out as a new contract and I’ll share the data from my sim until my contract ends, and then I’ll move my number to pay and go, then onto my new plan.

It wasn’t an issue sharing data from a third party with your existing EE contract? I am thinking of the same. Thanks

I think we have crossed wires.

I had an existing EE contract, but their upgrade offers were poor. So I took out another EE contract, and I’ll move the data until I can end the contract.
Just to compare the best sim only deal i can find right now similar to this is £270 for 24 months
minus that from £744 your left with £474 which is what your paying for a brand new XS which sound pretty good

last week you could get refurb Xs in good condition (grade c) from music magpie for £355 so extra £120 you get a brand new one

I don’t need so much data text or mins so this doesn’t work out good for me but for somone who needs that much it’s a good deal

Yes. FYI it’s £19 upfront as well, 45GB data. EE’s best was £40 upfront, £44 per month for 60GB.

I had 20GB before and didn’t use that much, but it was cheaper than any other deal so the extra data was a free bonus. Also, I’ve just moved, so having the two sims running together for a while is a help for downloading shows, films and apps etc
voted hot and bought for the mrs thx
Has anyone managed to get this work on any other of their iPhone xs deals?
I tried the code on the EE 16gb deal bit it didn’t work.
on my phone the 20gb deal says £99 upfront but it does still reduce to £0 with the 149xs code.
does anyone know what the code is

Just a heads up if anyone wants more data you can have 45gb for £36 a month (so extra £5 for 25gb)
however if u fancy a go at it there’s a cashback redemption deal that is £36 a month that reduces to £31 after cashback so if you are disciplined at claiming cashback you can get 45gb for £31 a month.
even if u mess it up it’s £36 a month ,same as the non cashback deal so nothing to loose.

Far better to get the iPhone 11 for £36 a month with 45GB data without need for cashback. £0 upfront, it was £19 upfront.
Is the 11 better then?

The bezels are nicer on the XS, but the camera and processor are better on the 11. I’ve compared them. The screen is a higher resolution on the XS too but the screen on the 11 is still great.

On second reading of your message ,don’t think u understood my message.
xs is also £36 a month with 45gb without need for cash back ,if you get the cash back it makes it £31 a month so £4 a month cheaper.
so personally I think it just depends which phone people prefer

Apologies, yes I misunderstood. I thought you meant an XS for £36pm, but it would be £31. Good if you’re ok with getting cashback. Some people prefer the XS, I almost bought one but I’m glad I didn’t. I’m happy paying £5 more per month for the better battery, camera and processor. I was disappointed with the XS camera when I compared them earlier this week.

No problem,I’m not the best at explaining things.
what you mentioned is exactly what I’m worried about....better battery.
i like the xs size but worried about battery.
ave the iPhone 6s now,it’s had a new battery once and is 30 months old and the battery still doesn’t last a day with the backlight turned right down.

Depends how often you are aware from a charger. I have portable battery packs but I work on call and can be out all day/night so would rather have the longer life. If that’s priority go for the 11. The XS is only better if you want a slightly better screen and nicer size to hold. That’s my opinion anyway.

Where is this?

It’s on here if you search iPhone 11. I think I’ve posted a link not long ago on this thread. It’s through Affordable Mobiles on EE.
It looks like a good deal . Just a question before I go down this contract route as have been on the SIM only plan for few years now. If we get this EE contract through this Affordable Mobiles reseller as going direct to the network is pretty expensive, and something happens to the phone, do we get to contact EE directly or will have to deal with the reseller please?
In which case, how is the support feedback about this reseller please?

Depends what the ‘something’ is. Check the policies on the Affordable Mobiles website, usually if you get a fault within 2 or 4 weeks, you go through them. After that, you can contact EE but you’d be better going direct to Apple I’d say.
And any feedback about the reseller please?
Feedback so far - I ordered last night at 2115 and it’s due out for delivery today, happy with that.

Thanks OP, good price for the XS. I’d like the better battery and camera of the 11 but it’s just too big for me.
