  • The most refined iPhone design yet, the iPhone XS is available features a 5.8” OLED screen, with a powerful A12 processor and pin-sharp 428 pixels per inch screen density. The custom-built OLED panel provides industry leading colour accuracy, true blacks, and remarkable brightness and contrast. There’s a new level of water resistance too, with a highly durable glass screen to resist scratches.
  • Out with the old
  • The iPhone XS features a sumptuous 5.8” OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) Super Retina Display. To give an uninterrupted front display, Apple has done away with the Home button; technophobes need not worry, however – thanks to Face ID, it takes just a glance to unlock your phone or a gentle swipe up to access features.

  • Designed for living
  • iPhone XS is rated IP86 for water resistance, meaning it’s water resistant up to 2 metres for 30 minutes and is sealed with a precision-fitted surgical-grade stainless steel band. The glass covering the screen is also highly resistant to scratches, so you can just get on with using the device as intended.

  • Brilliant bionic
  • The A12 Bionic chip is a six-core CPU powerhouse, which gives you fantastic performance as well as energy efficiency. With Apple’s next-generation Neural Engine, it uses real-time machine learning to transform the way you use your apps. It’s up to 15% faster and 50% more energy efficient than the previous generation A11 chip. The 4 core GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) is up to 50% faster than the A11 chip when using visually demanding apps, like games and video editing.

Get an 8 if you wanna pay the least and keep Touch ID.
Get an X if you want a larger screen, Face ID and pay in the middle
Get an XS if you want best quality screen, better camera, stainless steel body and pay the most (out of the 3 you said)
Get an XR for a bigger screen and pay around same as an XS
Get an 11 (replacement for XR) for great camera and battery life and pay a little bit more than XR
Get an 11 Pro (replacement for XS) for best everything if you have a spare kidney to sell

You can get a rather useful extra 4% off (£25) by buying John Lewis e-gift vouchers using the Reward Me Now app. It's similar to a work reward scheme.
There's a membership fee to pay, but it's only £1 for the 60 day trial, using code REWARD60 (then £20 per year after that). If you're anything like me, you'll save well over £20 in a year. I saved over £50 during the 60 day trial period alone!
e-Gift codes are delivered instantly through the app.
