My bro wanted a 8GB nano, so I've just ordered one. Works out not that much more expensive than the Amazon pricing error Ipods from the other week!

Good one thanks feesh69!

i can only get it down to £152.10 how do you get the rest off ????

£152.10 is the cash price, what you will pay on your credit card meridiusuk. The rest is either cashback through quidco, or boots advantage points.

ahh right thanks

Bear in mind that you get the 8GB in only one 'stylish colour' - Black, as per Apples premium desirability/marketing thing.

The 4Gig models are available in the colours (except Black).

The 2Gig is available in Grey Aluminium.

Side note: I was one of the 'unlucky' misprice guys who got a voucher from Amazon, ended up getting the 2G for under £55.:-D

Does anyone know if there are any other differences betweeen the new and old nanos.

I've seen that the shape has changed from a rounded edge to square (so hard cases can't be used) and I've been told that you need a new charger as well.

Can anyone confirm this?

Battery life is a lot longer, ipod seems a lot more robust, less likely to scratch.

With this level of discount why not just pay a little bit more and get the 30GB ipod video?

Can I just clarify something. When I go to the Boots section on the Quid co site, it says that only some of the transactions will go through quid co. So if I buy this through quid co from boots am i guaranteed to get the 6.5% or is it luck of the drawer?

points only 2028....the extra 500 doesn't get added to your basket, effectively making it £5 more in money terms...I suspect the promo for 500 points ended on Saturday....can anyone else confirm?

oooooops how do u post a pic....http://C:\Documents and Settings\Ian\Desktop\boots500.jpg I've gone back to the boots website and I can see the offer of 500 extra points on Electrical....I've done a screen grab but can't post the pic....any ideas the best way to pursue this with Boots?

no matter....out of stock now....lol....

ITS OUT OF STOCK!! i really wanted one as well!

It's marginally longer and thinner, the dock connector has been moved slightly towards the left edge, headphone jack to the right, so add-ons that use both ports at the same time will have probs, but otherwise, they are the same.
