I spotted these today in Newton Abbot branch of Asda. Cheapest I have seen in a store. All different colours.

Poster has commented that its the Old Style Nano and not the New Touchscreen Nano! (PLEASE NOTE)

Good price for a horribly, horribly, horribly overpriced gadget. It's an MP3 player with a touch screen, where you can't see more than 3 songs at once without having to scroll. Woohoo...

Amazing gadget with a great, responsive touchscreen, good battery life and so so so small

Fancy putting the correct pic up then?

Personally, I think these things are **** sick. They look dope and are mad stylish. I don't care if I'm paying for that.

try tesco on line start from £12.49 saw one in store, looked quite nifty - philips at tesco on line has a good review and only about £25 - on their website yo can read the reviews linked to revoo. good luck!

OP, I've amended the image for you to one of the older 8GB ipod nano models - could you quickly scroll down this list and see if it needs to be altered again ? If it does just let us know which is the correct model via the report link to the right of this post.

'Identifying iPod models' link

thanks again.

** Edit : Thank you for the report, hopefully the correct pic is displayed now and thanks again for taking the time to post

I have no idea if you think these are good or bad? In fact, i don't know what any of your comment means! Perhaps they invented a new language while I wasn't looking.

link not taking me to it

You can get the these from Apple for £79 in the refurbished section, the only difference is that they come in a plain white box instead of retail packaging.

Brilliant.

This deal is -55 degrees (at the minute... how is this a hot deal?

£102? Hilarious. 8GB Sansa Clip+ can be had for under £40!

Banned

But you can get them for £80 straight from Apple ... ?

There's always someone....

Of course there's always going to be someone willing to pay less than half the price for a player that has better sound quality, better battery life, expandable memory and uses USB mass storage.

And of course there are those in life that don't mind paying extra to have something: smaller, lighter, uses a number of compatible interfaces (Car iPod kits, Home Kits), iTunes already set up with playlists of their choice, existing accessories for iPod, much better UI, more functionality, ability to use Nike+, pretty awesome touch interface, better build quality and not forgetting the look and feel of a product.

But hey remember in life we have choices.

I'm an audiophile and whilst I think the Sansa is superb value for money and sounds better, there's something that makes me keep going back to iPods. I can certainly tell you that it's not my lack of knowledge in gadgets/love for apple.

The Clip+ is smaller than this Nano. Better UI and more functionality? Based on what? The Sansa's even let you browse by folder. To say that Apple has better build quality is a joke. If you choose the iPod over a player that costs significantly less and you admit sounds better, then you're an audiofool.

So what is it that makes you keep going back to iPods? In fact, why do you need to keep buying new ones? Is it because the ones you buy break or is it that the storage capacity is not expandable and you need to buy a new player as it has a fixed storage capacity? Or is it because you need your music player to be a video camera, then no longer a video camera but a touch screen watch?

Sure thing, homie.

I'm still trying to work out how this made it into the "hot" catagory, when it's -187. Either HDUK has a bug, or it went red hot, then bombed.

Don't take the mick out of da yoof, innit.
