The iPod touch from Apple has been carefully re-crafted and packs an impressive array of 2nd generation features in its beautifully thin, contoured, polished stainless steel casing. This iPod touch has wireless Wi-Fi connectivity, providing quick Internet access so you can browse the Web, check your emails, watch silly video clips on YouTube and connect to iTunes Music Store to download the latest hits. The iPod touch also features Maps, which allows you to find yourself, get directions and receive live traffic information to make your mobile life easier and more enjoyable!

The iPod touch also offers unmatched entertainment options, with its large 3.5-inch widescreen and Multi-Touch touchscreen display with 480 x 320 pixel resolution. This technology makes it easy to search through music by Cover Flow, flick through and enlarge photos, zoom in and out on a section of Web page and control game elements with precision. This screen can also swap between landscape and portrait modes, which is great for viewing videos, photos and web pages and playing games.

New to the 2nd-gen iPod touch is its Nike + iPod compatibility, which (with the addition of an optional sensor) will allow you to track the time, distance and calories burned during your cardio workout! You can then upload your info to nikeplus.com and track your workouts, set goals and challenge friends.

This iPod touch has a 8GB capacity, which is enough to store up to 2,000 songs or 10 hours of video. With its rechargeable battery, the iPod touch can power up to 36 hours of audio playback or 6 hours of video playback to keep you entertained when you're on the move.

* Movie Storage - Up to 10 hours
* Number of Songs - Up to 2,000

Depends how much stuff you've got though.... 8GB wouldn't be enough for me, but my mum has an 8GB Touch and only uses about 2GB of it...

i totally agree mate and also with this program: videora.com/en-…od/

you will wish you had got a 32gb! good luck people:thumbsup:

When you consider how flash memory has tumbled in price I think that 8gb is stingy and/or the price of this is too high. It maybe cheaper at Dixons than elsewhere which is the point I guess.

Same deal for £139 at Marshall ward if you are a new customer and trust them judging by the posts

Now out of stock

Appears to be back in stock again, folks!

245 degrees for a £5 off voucher? wowsers!

Anyhoo, I'd not buy one of these until they come free with OS 3.0, which among other things enables the Bluetooth Audio, and will cost £20 for existing iTouch owners.

It's $10. Even if they stuff us with the exchange rate it still won't be £20.

When Apple posted details about the iPhone and iPod touch software version 3 people found there where references in some of the code apple supplied to a new iPod touch.

They are speculating that the new one will have a GPS chip just like the iPhone, this may be why these are suddenly dropping in price at a few places. Just for people to beware they may be getting a good deal but soon find out that they have an old model.
