Possible beatmyprice and quidco could reduce price by 20 percent to 546.

Ram is soldered onto the motherboard so if you need more ram then ask for it at time of purchasing. They should really sell these with 8gb minimum since they're no upgradable and price of memory isn't much compared to how much apple charge you for their Macbooks

How many times are you going to make the same irrelevant point?

They are all assembled in the same factory in China anyway. The only difference is the '3' key has a # symbol printed on it instead of a £ one, but functionality is exactly the same. Apple offer a global warranty anyway.

...also, they are likely to be sourced from Hong Kong, not the US.

When you once looked at retina you will never go back to normal screens, AIR's display look pretty bad....

I am an 'Apple Geek' and bought the same from fleabay, small price to pay for an American keyboard. Had to send one back to JL as it was faulty within 3 weeks which was sent back and a shop floor model was sent from London so had to send it back AGAIN. Love this new one with the American key board (if anything more 'authentic' from fleaBay)

Surely with Bespoke and quidco this is a scorching deal...hot from me.

Enter key is also different
Slower than iPhone 6s

Have you been drinking? Yet another pointless comment, no it is not slower than an iPhone 6s

Holy crap this is over priced. you could get a pretty beastly windows laptop for this price and just install macos on it.

US vs UK keyboard is more then just the one key.
Look up images of US keyboard then UK keyboard and then tell us all its just the one key.

Now the most important question... Which generation is this? Apple are good at hiding them and fooling people by selling older generations at full price

They aren't US keyboards on these though, they are the international version as shown here

1.6ghz is the latest model.

Can you upgrade the ram or is it a soldering job?

They managed to get a 0.2% saving for me once. On a £200 item it wasn't overly useful!

Solder

2.3% they only offered me 2.1%

I think it's funny how some people go on. Personally I have an iMac and I can never find the bloody #key so this would be great for me, most certainly use the # key more than the £ key

Smaller screen though

The title says 683.38 from inception, but I see 681 from right-click. There is one for the title price from xtra cubby- is this the right one? Any reason not to go for the right-click one?

Good shout - I missed the 13" screen bit - the OP has my apologies

Problem with buying a macbook air and even macbook pro retina from 2013 onwards is that the memory modules soldered onto the board so you cannot upgrade it. So if you need extra memory then try and get with at least 8gb ram. I found out the hard way with my 4gb macbook pro that I tried to upgrade recently.
